We did not eat the food but we did have two drinks and they were great the ambiance is really nice, although we were moved due to only being two people and they had a group coming It was our second time there, and we plan to come back and recommend this place to others

We had reserved a patio table on line but were told patio tables could not be reserved. Even though we had a confirmation number, we had to sit inside until an available table could be found. After ordering drinks and oysters, it seemed we were deemed fit for the patio and were moved, but there were plenty of available tables that did not fill completely while we were there. The view is wonderful, the patio is very nice, and our servers were great. The food, however, was poor. Sirloin tips were hard little cubes of overcooked meat served with "aioli" that seemed to be pretty ordinary mayo. The scallop ceviche was bland, and the scallops did not taste terribly fresh. I would recommend going for cocktails and eating elsewhere. Also, I wonder why we were told we could not sit on the patio when there were plenty of tables. We were well dressed, but perhaps to old to blend into their trendy demographic?

This place is great for a couple of drinks in the evening; the view is fantastic, the ambience is beautiful, and the drinks are tasty. However, I would not recommend it for dinner. The waiter did not check in with us and was slow to bring the drinks and food. It is disappointing that 18% gratuity is automatically applied to the bill, because I definitely did not feel the service was worth it. Also, the food is overpriced for what you are getting. I ordered a duck leg for 43 or 44 dollars, and it was pretty bland with plain mashed potatoes, lentils, and raw cherry tomatoes on the side. It was an odd pairing, and was especially disappointing because I had a fantastic duck leg at luxe bistro about 2 weeks ago that was flavorful, crispy, and cheaper. My husband said his beef short ribs were good, but I did notice he didn't eat much. Overall, the best word I can use to describe this dinner was disappointing.

The tables are tiny with such wide bases that patrons either need to sit like frogs with their legs spread open wide (patrons wearing skirts should avoid inside) or turn sideways to the tables to get close enough to eat/drink. All indoor seating is uncomfortable at best. The “Thai salad” we ordered claimed to use heirloom tomatoes but instead had flavorless store bought cherry tomatoes. The dressing was tasteless and the mango slivers dry and unripe. My “angus burger” was room temperature and was an obvious frozen patty with fake grill lines. My wife had pork ribs were that were tolerable. The music was way too loud causing all 7 patrons to yell across the table at each other in order to have a conversation making the place even louder. The cheapest bottle of wine was a $50 Cabernet from the Niagara region. It should be $20. On the plus side our waitress was polite and attentive. Our 20% tip reflects only her service. Also the view is spectacular. We might go back for a cocktail to enjoy the view since we are staying at the hotel for four nights, but we won’t be going back for food or wine. Oh and we won’t be eating at their other restaurant.

We loved sitting by the window overlooking the city and watching the sunset as we enjoyed our drinks. The appetizers we ordered were simply outstanding. Our server was very nice and considerate. The drinks were slow arriving to our table a couple of times, but that didn't hurt the overall experience. The only thing I would complain about was the music was a little loud for conversation. This was not a large room, so I think you could lower the volume a bit.

Beautiful bar at the top of the Andaz hotel. Gorgeous view, wonderful service. The food is good but the menu is limited. My Negroni was wonderful!
