Salads were delicious, both pastas were good. If Vegan the only entree option is the spaghetti pomodoro. Basic tomato sauce with spaghetti. Twas good but my arugula salad was way better

It was 1st time visiting this restaurant last week. I wanted to check if this restaurant is valuable to bring my whole family and my friends. Our server was “Lynn” , but, she was not pay attention to our table from ordering foods till we got foods finally. We got foods 45mins+ after we ordered. At that time, they had group guests in private party room. We understand they were so busy for them. But, our sever or manager should come to our table to get excuse during long waiting foods. She or Manager never followed up with us till we get food finally. And, also she missed one of our order. After she realized her mistakes , our server changed her attitude to us as good way. But, we wasted about 1 hour to wait foods, and we never got follow up from them why foods were delayed. Need to improve Customer Service. I wish we had other server who has good customer service mind. However. Restaurant was nice to enjoy beautiful view and food. We will visit again, but, hope we can get better service at next time.

Beautiful setting on Commencement Bay, with water & Mt. Rainier views. Seating was comfortable and made for easy visiting. Brunch was delicious, encouraging us try new choices! We'll definitely return.

This is the 3rd time I've been to Copper and Salt. Start with the good! Waterfront location with 20 foot tall floor to ceiling windows for great views to looking to the North. Many window tables, but even non window tables have very good views. Service OK. We did have to wait for 15 minutes despite being on time for our reservation. Staff were friendly. Staff was to our table quickly for pre-meal beverages and water. I ordered a cocktail called Dark Brew; what I received was a Lager beer. Sent it back and 10 minutes later received a dark beer, sent it back and finally received my ordered cocktail 10 minutes after our entrees were plated and on our table. It would have been good before dinner, but did not go well with my Wild Boar Pork shank. I sent it back as well. Disappointing, but mistakes happen. Not too big a deal. Pork shank was flavorful as was the accompanying polenta. Halibut was overcooked, firm, not flakey and was not terribly flavorful or memorable. Porterhouse was ordered medium-rare, but was medium well. At this point we were trying to get through the meal and not cause more delays. For the quality and execution , this steak felt overpriced. Focaccia bread was very good. Good appetizer. Sides of crispy brussel sprouts and marbled potatoes were not good at all. Both were undercooked and had an unpleasant remaining firmness/crispness that was closer to raw than cooked. We sent both back and did not replace them. I discussed with the manager and service rescue was attempted. A complimentary dessert was delivered, a chocolate tort of some type. It was dry, hard and partially frozen. While I appreciate the effort, we tried 2 bites and left the rest. I'm not usually super critical, but the cumulative errors and poor quality kind of ruined the evening and the experience. Overall, not a great experience. Would not recommend and I have no plans to make a 4th visit.
