Coppa Osteria is the perfect paring of food and lifestyle, taking its personality from the affluent, family centric West University, Southampton, Rice and Museum District neighborhoods. Its clientele is an eclectic mix of professionals, university academics and young families – who all seem to know one another. With craft cocktails and an extensive wine list, it's easy to find the perfect beverage to pair with Coppa's modern Italian cuisine. Neapolitan-inspired pizzas are some of the most popular items on the menu – the Coppa Pepperoni and Carnissima are crowd favorites. Diners also flock for the Fritto Misto, Burrata Tartufo and Spaghetti Carbonara (Coppa's signature dish).     Overall love this place have been many times .. the music was super loud last evening. Asked a couple of times to turn it down a notch.

    We were seating 25 minutes after our reservation. No apology, no explanation, no accommodation. Service was good. Food was fairly good. But we couldn’t get over the casualness at which the staff treated such a delay in seating us.

    Wonderful experience! It was our first time at Coppa. It was raining, but the valet parking was easy. Our reservation was checked quickly and we were seated without delay. Our waiter, Jed, was helpful and efficient with tips and suggestions. Someone else helped as we studied the wine list and answered more of our questions. The food was terrific. We had the spicy chick peas to start, we split the Coppa Caesar salad and we had the Spaghetti Carbonara (fantastic) and the Penne Alla Coppa (we shared the leftovers, later, for a late-night snack). We will definitely go again.

    Food was excellent. You can’t go wrong with their Carbonara, Shrimp Scampi and Pappardelle Ai Funghi.

    Had the Tuscan kale salad and a pizza that had caramelized onions and mushrooms on it. It was very delicious. Marco was our waiter and his service was fabulous.
