We are frequent diners at Coopers Hawk, typically once or twice per month, and love this Virginia Beach location. Enjoyed our wine tasting experience as always, friendly, and knowledgeable sommeliers, delectable wine selections/pairings. We enjoy getting to know the patrons standing on either side of us, comparing notes and just chatting. My husband ordered the black and blue skirt steak salad & I ordered the baked Parmesan shrimp scampi. Both were outstanding! Our server was very nice and attentive as he could be, considering they appeared to be short on servers this Thursday evening. Overall, a great experience. We will be back!

Amazing food and experience. I recommend the drunk shrimp, shrimp and scallop risotto, filet mignon and Betty’s potatoes!

Everything was great, except the entrees. They must have changed recipes, because the chicken risotto was not as creamy and flavorful as it has been in the past. The pretzel crusted pork-chops were very dry. Wine and server were amazing!

The Chicken Madeira was like butter. So good, got free dessert for my wife’s birthday that was big enough to share. We had key lime pie. It’s a wine tasting restaurant but we don’t drink and the server made us feel comfortable with our coke choices. They do have a ton of wines to try so if that’s your thing you’ll have many to choose from at the wine bar. We were surprised to see such an upscale restaurant attached to Lynnhaven mall.

Went for a girls outing. Celebrating a birthday. It was not as good as it usually is. Did address concerned with a manager. She rectified the situation. Will still go at least 1x a month. Usually excellent service and food. May have been off day
