Coopers Hawk, Boy Scout Rd, Tampa, is THE BEST food, service, value in the Tampa Bay area, hands down, for any occasion. Wine selection is unmatched by any other fine restaurant.

Cooper’s Hawk is a real gem. The service is top notch and the food is outstanding. I’ve eaten there 4 times in the past few years and have always had an outstanding experience. The chicken piccata is the best I have ever had. Energetic ambiance too.

They have an amazing wine selection, love the flight option to pick and choose what I want to try. I asked the server pick based on my tastes, she definitely didn’t nail it, I’ll just pick myself next time. The food was good, not great, but definitely nothing wrong. I had the seafood soup, that was delicious and then the shrimp and scallop risotto, it was a little bland, but still good, just missing something. My husband had the wedge salad, which he stated was one of the best salads he’s had then the pork chop: he loved it, but they did forget the candied bacon, or there wasn’t enough to notice. My son had Mac n cheese and a burger, he said the bun was soggy and it was a little under cooked, but he really liked the fries and the pretzel bread. As far as allergies, they do have a menu to look at, but not many choices if you have a dairy or egg allergy, my daughter loves their GF menu though.

The food was amazing! Service was not great, we had to wait 30 min to get bread and our drinks. We wanted to order more wine but the server didn’t come back to us for another 20 min.

Our food was delicious and the service excellent. Enjoyed a wonderful dinner! Highly recommend! Have been here many times and will continue to do so.

The hostess who showed us our table was super sweet and engaging, as were the runners who delivered our food. The server, however, was beyond rude and clearly didn't want to be at work. I came to CH for my birthday and had been looking forward to it since it came highly recommended, it was the worst experience! Food was lacking flavor, I could've made better at home for a fraction of the price. The server made it seem like it was an ordeal that we got a wine flight, he snapped that there was no cheese or any ingredients for the cheese board when we were in the middle of trying to order it and didn't provide any alternatives, also why is a wine based venue out of "all" cheese for a cheese board? The server never asked is we wanted any additional wine--which I did but after the service got put off from it. I sat with empty glassware my entire experience. He only checked on us twice and took a long time to get our check. My birthday dessert was quickly plopped down in front of me before he ran off. He did ask if we wanted dessert took 15 minutes to grab the menus and threw them on the center of the table and ran off---its worth noting that it wasn't busy, and I have worked in the service industry myself for a while and this was unacceptable. Management seemed to just walk around the restaurant, refusing to make eye contact with anyone. Overall experience was disappointing and horrible, I don't intend to go ever again.

I recently came to the Cooper hog for an important business meeting. Their booths offer just enough privacy, which was perfect! The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I am excited to come back soon.
