I hosted our annual end of year book club dinner and couldn't have been more happy with our experience. Amanda Simpson was awesome, helping me plan our event. She was very quick to respond to my requests and made it a simple process. Carrie, our server for the evening was exceptional! She was friendly, very thorough and allowed us appropriate quiet to discuss our book.

I place to see and be seen. Saturday night at 6pm, parking lot full, have to park in the mall lot across the road. They handle the crowd well. Noisy, directional heading aids work well. Food is always great. I'm gluten-free, so I skipped most and went for the Braised Short Rib Risotto. Out of the is world taste. Finished off with the crème brulée; I think they added caramel to it; it is an improvement. And we finished 2 bottles of great wine (4-of us). And they brought 2 glasses of Blanc de Blanc.; So good we bought 2 bottles.

I am a Wine Club member and frequent CH often. I usually order the salmon. This time, I ordered the filet mignon. This is the 2nd time I ordered the filet. The 1st time was at CH in South Barrington. It was tough, I sent it back and ordered the salmon. This time, it again came out tough (ordered it medium). I didn't send it back, I ate it. Conclusion: Do not order the beef at CH. It is not top grade, and you will be disappointed.

Our food had obviously been sitting under the heat lamps for quite a while. Mashed potatoes had a shine on them and our steak and fish were dried out and difficult to cut.
