I have been going to the Cooper’s Hawk in The Arboretum of South Barrington since it’s been open. Many different occasions and with many different people. Cooper’s Hawk never disappoints! I went with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Besides the food, which is always exceptional, we also had the most kind and engaging server - her name is Chi. She was friendly, patient, informative, engaging and the was an overall kindness about her. Thank you - Cathie Cook

Had the short rib grilled cheese. Pretty sure it’s not a good move for anyone on a diet, but it was delicious!

New brunch menu item was not delicious. Shared my feedback with server and manager. It was taken off my bill and I appreciate the gesture. It was handled very promptly and professionally.

We arrived and had a wine tasting. Our server was Joy. She was fantastic! When we went to the table. We had very very slow service. We had to ask for water a couple of times. She wasn’t around much at all. Our waitress seemed very overwhelmed, and was not very friendly. The food was good.

We had a wonderful waiver who was training a girl for dinner tonight. They checked on us numerous times but didn’t rush us. Our meals were made to perfection and everything arrived at the correct temperature. We had the option of dining at the Algonquin Cooper’s Hawk or South Barrington and we always prefer the South Barrington location. Your servers are very knowledgeable and attentive.
