Very unusual and awful night on Nov 8 in Scottsdale. We’ve eaten at the Chandler location many times and always been 100% pleased. Last night we waited 45 minutes for a table at 7:00. Then after waiting over an hour for food, realized no tables near us had food. Eventually our server informed us there were employee problems in the kitchen. About 30 minutes later, we received our food. It was not exactly what we ordered but we ate quickly and left at 10 pm. Terrible night at Coopers Hawk. I would avoid going for a few weeks to the Scottsdale location! (Nothing was comped.)

This is the second bad experience at Coopers Hawk. The first was at the Chandler location and then again at the Scottsdale location. We waited over three hours to get our dinner. Chandler gave our entire party free vouchers with drink as a result. Scottsdale gave us about 60% off our bill, but didn’t even offer us a drink, apps, etc. while we patiently waited. They offered us a free dessert, but it was so late once we finally finished dinner that we declined. There is clearly something wrong at these locations that Management needs to address. We love the food and the lively atmosphere so it’s a shame they can’t get their act together in the kitchen. I don’t think we want to chance a third time given our bad experience. Good luck!

The server was fantastic. Despite appearing to have too many tables to manage on the patio, he remained attentive and genuinely eager to make our meal enjoyable and high quality. However, it took nearly two hours to receive our two entrées and one dessert. When we ordered the winter wine, one glass arrived with lipstick marks, and the other had sticky residue from a freshly peeled sticker. The server was gracious enough to have one of the drinks comped, which we appreciated. When the food finally arrived, it was fresh and tasted good, but we were left wondering why it took so long. The drinks from the bar also took at least 10 minutes, if not longer, to prepare. Overall, the kitchen and bar seemed extremely slow or understaffed, which negatively impacted our dining experience.

After waiting 30 minutes to get seated, we waited 60 minutes for food to come. Our server was very sweet. Josie level off the charts. No free appetizer anything. Will not be returning.

Can’t go wrong with food options . Gnocci a la vodka was one of the best I’ve had. Cheese tray not a necessity but who doesn’t love cheese. Wine very reasonably priced and go for the decanter!!

Food was good, server RAEGAN was AMAZING! The disappointing part of this business dinner was the speed of the food. It took forever. The dining area was busy and I respect that, it just felt like a very exaggerated ticket time I can’t say it enough, RAEGAN was lovely and absolutely wonderful!

The food was fabulous as always. We come to Scottsdale once a year in Cooper’s Hawk is a must every year. The staff is pleasant and helpful. It is one of our favorite places to go.

Second time visiting this week. Highly recommend the wine braised short ribs - absolutely delicious! We will be back.

I had a large group (10 people) for the new brunch that Coopers Hawk is offering. The brunch food and drinks were delicious! The service was just okay. Our waiter did not check on us after the helper delivered our drinks and before our food was delivered so the restaurant did miss out on a lot more money as we would have probably ordered more drinks.
