Are you kidding with the outdoor patio being open with "heat lamps" that do nothing when it was 40 degrees and raining? Enclose the patio space and heat in winter or CLOSE THE PATIO! No description when booking as to the conditions of the patio. We waited 30 min for our reservation OUTSIDE and then left immediately when seated on patio that should not be open. This place should be ashamed of themselves for not having transparency about outdoor patio.

Had a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Menu items looked good however food came out cold with only the plate being warm, I could tell the food was not freshly made to order. Drinks were ok, but did not look appealing when delivered to table. Poor quality food for mid prices overall.

A Valentine's Day Disappointment at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant I had high hopes for a memorable Valentine's Day dinner at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Richmond, VA. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. Upon arrival, despite having a confirmed reservation, I was informed by the staff that my table was unavailable, and I was denied service without a clear explanation. The unprofessional and dismissive attitude of the staff left me feeling unwelcome and disheartened. To make matters worse, I perceived the treatment to be discriminatory, which is deeply concerning. As a result, I had to return to my hotel room without having dinner on a special occasion like Valentine's Day. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I will not be returning to Cooper's Hawk. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary changes to ensure all guests feel respected and valued.

What a wonderful experience! My fiancé and I came in for a wine tasting and dinner and had a fantastic time. Emily helped us with our tasting and was so kind. Our server for dinner was funny and a great guy! Very knowledgeable about the menu!

The biggest problem with Cooper's Hawk is the wine tasting bar. There is no organization to the wait to find room at the bar. People come in and cut in front of the waiting people. Even if there is some type of line, doesn't matter to some. It would be better if you were given a number as you enter and then it could be fair to others that are considerate.
