Our experience started out badly when the hostess took us to our reserved table outside and it wasn’t clean. We asked if it could be wiped down and she walked over to the server station and grabbed 2 cocktail napkins. She came back and handed the napkins to us instead of cleaning it for us. We were shocked as it was our first time dining there, but we’ve never been to a restaurant where that has happened. Other than that incident, the experience was positive and the food/drinks were very tasty.

Everything was great, food and wine. We left wishing we had gone there earlier and been able to go back before returning home. It will be high on our list when we return late December/January’26.

Loud and bright, hostess gave us the worst table, when I asked for on two tables over with the same number of seats I was told I would have to wait for it, but 1/2 the restaurant was empty and we had a reservation. Service was very slow and after saying it was our first time the server offered no assistance or explanation on the wine membership or tasting. Food was ok but the atmosphere was cafeteria like.

I used to be highly impressed by the food when I first started going there, and it seems to have declined somewhat. It's still a nice place with a great staff and I like the wine selections.

Actually, the service was the slowest we’ve ever experienced. Rian was a great server, but the restaurant is so understaffed. Waited half an hour for water and drinks. Another 15 for bread. Finally got food another 15 minutes later. He was very apologetic. Nice person. Fortunately, I was with friends. My husband would have walked out. As a rule, really like Cooper’s. Open up on Ling Island, N.Y. Please!
