First impression, we get a text message saying that our table was ready and we still waited 20+ minutes to get seated. Why send the txt if it’s not ready? Luckily, our server saved our dining experience. We ordered food items and our appetizer didn’t make it to our table. Our server apologized and took it off our bill. No big deal as we were full already. We ordered dessert and we were waiting for 30 minutes and when we asked we were told that dessert item had sold out. Again our server apologized and took items off our final bill to make it right. Our server was really nice and outgoing which made it a pleasant experience otherwise this would’ve been a 0 stars experience.

I love Cooper’s Hawk have been a member for years. Decided to meet my girlfriends for dinner and of course for the wine down we decided to go. This was a location new for us all who are all members and to be clear won’t be coming back. The level of hospitality was at a zero. The now there were a few staff members that made me up my rating just because of them. However, I definitely won’t be coming back to this location. It only takes common sense to know when your waiter would prefer to not serve the “likings” of you.

My wife and I decided to go have a little snack. Had a 9pm reservation. We were seated right away, but we waited for about 5/7mins before our server came over to greet us (You all weren’t busy at all). My husband ordered a hot tea, which came out about 3mins later with only hot water and No tea bag. It took our server about 4mins to come back over to check on us, and for us to let her know we never got a tea bag. We really only came for desert, but ended up ordering soup and egg rolls ( which was really good). After we ate we asked for a dessert menu and was told that the kitchen was closed. Never once did our sever come back and say our kitchen will be closing is there anything else you would like to order. All she said was sorry but our kitchen has been closed since 9pm

It’s always a pleasure to visit Coopers Hawk, but the noise level is challenging. That is not a unique problem to Cooper’s Hawk though. Many restaurants are too loud these days, especially when we’re there with my 90 year old parents.

So we never gave a bad review for CH, but it started with our server spilling the entire glass of water on one of our guests. Then our sangria drinks from the bar were watered down filled with ice and had no taste. We waited forever for our cold food to arrive and my husband’s jambalaya arrived the white rice was like a ball of salt. Everyone tried it and was shocked how salty and disgusting it was! The manager did not acknowledge us or come to talk to us regarding the food situation. The manager just walked by and gave a bad look. The server told us the manager would be coming to speak to us and never did! Very poor customer service. This was our last meal of the year and we were celebrating New Year’s Eve dinner with family. We will never go back to the Oak Park location again!
