We went out for dinner and everything was fantastic, normally don’t go to the location all the way out in Oaklawn but it was New Year’s Eve and that’s where they had an open table so it was a nice change of pace

I made a reservation about 2 weeks in advance when my wife and i showed up they had us wait 20 minutes to be seated. When we got to our table no one notified our waitress that we were seated yet. We waited an additional 20 minutes to be served our waters and bread. When we ordered our appetizers and entrees, we received our entrees before our appetizers (not our waitresses fault at all just poor communication with the kitchen staff because we were served our entrees by a different staff member) I ordered a fillet mignon medium well. When it arrived to the table it was completely raw. Our waitress apologized and a manager brought another fillet mignon which that too was not cooked to my liking either. Over all the entire experience was very poor. The atmosphere was incredibly loud as well our waitress couldn’t hear us order nor could I hear my wife from a cross our little table. Our waitress LA despite all the negatives did try her best was incredibly apologetic and very kind throughout our experience and we do not fault her for the incompetence of her peers.

I had a really good time at at the restaurant my waitress was very polite and helpful and food came out fast and hot. Can’t wait till next time.

We saw our waiter once. We only were able to have 1 drink during our stay. The waiter serviced all tables around us but did not stop at our table until it was time to clean it off.

I visited this restaurant on 12/30 with a 7:00 PM reservation, but my experience was anything but timely or pleasant. Despite arriving on time, I wasn’t seated until 7:38 PM after being repeatedly told every 5 minutes that my table would be ready “in 5 minutes.” Once seated, the delays continued. It took over 15 minutes for a server to take our drink order, at which point we decided to order our appetizers and main courses as well due to the lackluster service. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. Two of my guests’ orders came out wrong—twice. After speaking with a male manager to address the first mistake, we requested a different manager for the second round, hoping for better resolution. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. By the time the incorrect orders were finally corrected, it was after 9:00 PM—two hours after our initial reservation. The second manager offered little sympathy, and when we asked for some form of compensation, we were told they would remove one entrée and apply a 20% discount for the inconvenience. To add insult to injury, when we received the bill, it was incorrect. Resolving the issue took another 20 minutes. While I understand the restaurant was busy, it’s no excuse for the repeated errors, delays, and lack of accountability. This was my first and will be my last visit to this location. I cannot recommend it based on my experience.

This experience at Cooper’s Hawk was out of the ordinary for sure. The weight service took longer than usual, but we were OK with that. The problem was that once we received our food, we were notified that they didn’t have any steak knives that are clean. The waiter explained to us that he would have to wait for them to get out the dishwasher. After about a 20 minute wait we went ahead and ate the steak with forks and fingers. I didn’t complain however I didn’t eat my whole meal and was very disappointed.
