Nice atmosphere and energy. Most notable was the kindest and friendliest hostess I have encountered in a long time. She made us feel at home and excited for our meal. The food was decent as well as the service. We were checked on multiple times by the server and twice by management.

Overall, the Cooper’s Hawk team at the new Montgomery, IL location was excellent. The Hostess staff was accommodating. Manager stopped by early to say hello. Sadly, our server may have dropped the ball on a few things. I could see other servers were really hustling and had service down perfectly, but our waiter wasn’t keeping up. The time of getting Wine delivered to the table took a while, and trying to get another bottle again later was equally delayed. Our Waiter was a personable character but missed on his over timing. I believe his conversational attention caused delays across his tables. We sat for an extended period trying to eat our appetizer with menus in our laps before our entrée order was taken. Other team members assisted with delivery of the food, but two of the four orders missed the target with what was requested for the order with emphasis. Used appetizer plates and sample glassware stayed in the way entirely too long. Meanwhile I could see other wait staff seemed to have the process and efficiency down. I liked the waiter, but he needed better balance of timing. He needs to be crisp, concise, predictive, and accurate. Unfortunately, I had to waive down our waiter. Food wise, the four of us were happy. I ordered the pork chop was which moist and delicious, but it was covered with a ½ inch of mushy wet topping (supposed to be parmesan encrusted), so something was a miss. The overall table service took too long, so I felt guilty for holding up that table. Quite a few people were waiting in the lobby for tables to turn. We will still go back, but hopefully draw a new server for a different experience.

Started with an excellent wine tasting. Informative and delicious. Dinner was excellent too. Enjoyed the sashimi app and shrimp scampi for my main course. Just enough. Service was great. Loved it!

I have had many dining experiences at different locations and this was my first time at the Montgomery Cooper’s Hawk restaurant. I enjoyed the food ,the atmosphere ,and the minor but unique differences in the set up of the restaurant . its the Coopers Hawk on the Hill for now on, I will have to say our server was extremely professional, polite , and patient. She was a delight , and we very much appreciated her . Royauna did a great job of making sure we were given proper attention , while still taking care of other customers.

We had an excellent experience!! I’ve been to this location several times since its opening and it keeps getting better. The manager Ilithia and our Server Evangeli were superb!!! We can’t wait to go back there. They treated my friends and I like family!
