This is my second visit to the Montgomery IL location. Always a great place to go, consistently good food and service! I find a booth helps me hear others at my table easier, it can get quite loud when the restaurant is full of people .

My husband, kids and I dined here for our anniversary and our experience was terrible and chaotic. My order was incorrect, they sat us 20 minutes past our reservation time, and their manager's customer service was poor. My mom for her birthday wanted to go to this Cooper's Hawk for her Birthday. I held my breath and made the reservation. The service was amazing and the food was correct and amazing. They made my mother very happy on her birthday. We did go on Saturday at Noon so it was less busy but I still give them credit for seeming to fix all of the issues that happened in August to us. Kudos to the staff and management!

Cooper’s hawk is my absolute favorite. I think the service at this new location could be improved slightly, but I am used to the Naperville location which goes above and beyond. I’d recommend to anyone!

Another great experience at this location. Was a busy Friday night but everything moved along smoothly. Hannah our server was friendly and efficient. Our good came out hot and delicious! Montgomery Cooper’s Hawk is our new favorite go-to for all of our special occasions. Keep up the great service and quality.

Comparing our experience to the Naperville location, the service at this restaurant was lacking. Because we asked to sit at a booth rather than a table, our waiter was unable to find us apparently, leaving us to wait too long to even be acknowledged after sitting. I did appreciate that my waiter suggested a tasting of the Resiling as I was unsure if it would be too sweet, and he even bought brought a gerwurtraminer (sp?) sample for me to try as well. But once I chose my glass of wine, our appetizer arrived well before the wine, something that we both really dislike. The food was good, but the waiter seemed unsure what to do with our remaining bottled wine that we wanted to bring home with us. He did eventually bring a bag for us to put it in. I'd rate the food as an A, but the service as a C.

We always enjoy our visits to Coopers Hawk. The menu choices include a wide variety of options as well as the wine list. Our server, Madalyn, was exceptional. We would encourage you to visit Coopers Hawk if you’re looking for a pleasant restaurant experience.

Very inattentive waitress. Had to ask for water and bread. Waited a long time for her to take our order. Ordered medium steak but received well done. “Roasted” Potatoes were nearly raw. Would have sent the dish back but our waitress didn’t return until it was time for the check. The manager did comp this meal when we spoke to the waitress but I went home hungry. I’m not sure if this newer location is under staffed or still working out the kinks. Until this, I would say we’ve always had a great experience at other Coopers Hawk locations.
