Glad I made a reservation because the place was packed and stayed that way. Always good to see at a restaurant! With the crowd came noise though, but my wife and I were still able to hear each other across the booth table. Drinks were good (I had the Dirty Nasty martini). We had the pot stickers as an app and they were yummy as was the slaw that came under them. We both got surf and turf my wife had it with scallops and I had the salmon. Both were great and the steaks were cooked perfectly med. rare. Our waitress was wonderful and let us dine at our own pace. Which means we weren’t rushed through our meal. We even signed up for the wine club 😁

Love this place. I always order the Chicken Piccata, it is yummy. Great food snd super place to go.

For our table of nine people, we were given a new server who wasn’t familiar with the menu. I think she did her best, but a more experienced server would’ve done a better job. I ordered an old-fashioned, it arrived with so much bitters that I couldn’t drink it. Our server to politely took it back and brought me a different drink. Our food arrived at different times and seem to have taken a very long time to prepare, despite the large kitchen. Everyone enjoyed their food, however.

We usually love coming to this restaurant, but this time my food selection was just horrible. I tried the pecan encrusted grouper and I could not even eat more than a bite.

It was our first time ever in Grand Rapids and a local recommended Coopers to us, and we are glad we went. The portion of the appetizer was huge, the entrees were good, and the pretzel bread was delicious. The front of the restaurant kinda throws you off because it's store themed and beyond the store is the front desk to the restaurant. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu, and you could tell she cared a ton for the work she was doing. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we will definitely be back again if we are ever up that way.

The service was very very slow. It took over 20 minutes before we received drinks. Our plates didn’t get cleared until we were leaving. Didn’t ask for second round of drinks or dessert. After being g there for two hours we had to ask for our bill. This is the first time we experienced this type of service. We were really disappointed.
