Had a wonderful lunch with my friend. We weren't rush; the server was wonderful and gave us time to chit chat since we hadn't seen each other in a while. The food was delicious. I also love the Chef's Recommendations. I have never had a bad experience or meal at any of the Cooper's Hawk restaurants I have visited.

Shandra (hopefully spelled right) from the tasting room is very knowledgable and sweet. If you ever go for the tasting or even dinner at the Gurnee location, you’re in for a nice treat. The staff were very welcoming and I appreciate the hosts, cashiers, and our server. Of course, be patient when wine tasting, as each bartender will be attending others so the 30-45 minute tasting time is accurate. My husband and I had a very nice time celebrating our recent marriage here and would recommend it =)

I had a great birthday lunch with my husband and sister. I loved the food, drinks and service. Will definitely visit again.

Amanda, our waitperson was so wonderful and right on the mar. She made us feel so welcome. It was a birthday lunch so she had a lovelt candle lit dessert for us to share. I had an appetizer that was new on the menu, "Sweet & Crunchy Shrimp" Totally, totally GREAT. The pretzel bread rolls were super. Joe had the wedge salad and the tortilla soup which were pleasers. The wine choices are many and varied. I like the Abrillante white wine from Spain. Great food, atmosphere and customer service!

Second time at the Gurnee location & once again a disappointment. My husband went out for dinner on 3/2 and for the cost of what we spent on the food it was not worth it. My husband had ordered prime churrasco grilled steak & shocking it came w/ fries. Fries is not a side you pair w/ skirt steak. I had the Fliet Mignon w/ a horseradish crust. I had ordered it medium & when it came out, it was not the correct temperature. The sides of it were well done whereas the center of it was raw. I really hate sending food back, but I can't handle raw meats. We told our waitress & she took it back. Then the waitress came back letting me know because I had a crust on it, they had to make me a new dish. The Mgr. (I'm assuming he was) came out to apologize & to let us know it was on its way. He also said he would come back & check on me. So, round two of my dinner... The steak once again came out raw. We showed the waitress again, but this time nothing was done. Couldn't eat it. so packed it up to take home in hopes that putting it in the microwave would cook it more. We then ordered dessert, another disappointment. We ordered the salted caramel crème brûlée. When it said fresh berries, we were expecting lots of berries, instead we only got 2 blackberries on top. This will be the last time we go. So sad.

Food is consistently excellent at Cooper’s Hawk Gurnee. Service is 80% perfect. We were invited to sample wine of the month and the brunch donuts. Very nice. Wait staff friendly and attentive but my husband’s glass of wine with lunch was overlooked and the salad for our takeout order. Glass of wine was quickly fulfilled after bringing it to attention but we didn’t realize the salad was missing until we got home. It wasn’t on our receipt either so perhaps our wait staff person did not hear me or the kitchen didn’t hear her. Overall a place to have a reliably delicious meal and great wine.
