We had a reservation for at 715 for 6 people to celebrate a birthday. We got there at 7pm and we were told it would be a short wait while they turned some tables. 720 rolls around and I check again and the hostess tells me that they are still waiting for tables to be cleaned off. There were other people that were waiting too and being told the same thing. 740 and still no table. I have checked at least another 5 times and kept getting told the same thing. Several other people were waiting for their table and also being told the same thing. When we looked in the dining room, there were quite a few tables that were empty, just not fully cleaned. 750, we finally are seated. Mind you our reservation was at 715. Why take reservations on open table? 10 minute wait, fine. The hostess also couldn’t give a time frame. After being seated, we wait another 10 minutes for the server to get a drink order and another 10 mins for our drinks to be dropped off. Terrible. Food…we order kids filet medium rare, skirt steak medium rare, filet and grouper (filet medium), kids hamburger, shrimp risotto and one grouper. Also ordered 3 lobster bisques. Soups were great. Our food came out after 35 mins. My daughter’s filets were rare…she was starving so ate them. My son didn’t eat his burger, they put some lettuce with dressing on it. I told the server plain burger. He didn’t want to wait for another burger so he ate fries and fruit. Now my filet and grouper, filet was medium rare, I wanted it medium. My husband’s skirt steak should have been medium rare it was well done! We would have sent the food back but everything was dragging and lagging and our server didn’t even check to see if we needed anything so ya, we just wanted to get out of there. I put on our open table reservation that we were celebrating a bday. We have celebrated birthdays here before and they have brought out a little dessert with a candle. Nothing. Just a bad experience. Will stick with Naper location.

We had a 7 o’clock reservation that I had made online for a rooftop outdoor spot. We arrived at 6:30 and decided to do a tasting, not knowing if we would have time for a full one, but even if we didn’t, we decided that we would take a chance. it was very busy and noisy in the waiting area. I checked in when we arrived and the hostess said that it would be a wait and we were early and I told her that we were going to do a tasting. at 7 o’clock I checked in again and she said that it would still be a wait which was fine because we were still doing our tasting , I checked in with her at 7:20 and she said it was still await which was fine. I checked again with her at 7:45 and she said it showed that we were seated which we were not so it appeared that someone else either took our reservation or they seated , someone else when we did not hear our name being called because of the noise level in that area. I get that, but I had already checked in with her three times and she knew where we were so it was kind of irritating they did not come find us . They seated us immediately, but it was not where we wanted to be seated obviously. It was a beautiful evening and we really wanted to be on that rooftop patio. Other than that, the food was good. The service was good, but I was kind of irritated about the wait and the way that it was handled.

Table service was slow, took a while at the table to be greeted by staff. Food did come out fast though, compliments to kitchen

Had a 6:30pm reservation. Checked in and was told we’ll call your name when your table is ready. 40min later we get called. Sit down around 7:15pm and then the waitress was awful. Brought us water and didn’t come back for over 10min. Our wine was sitting on the bar as she went to other tables and our food came out before she ever brought us our wine.
