A little slow at first with our waiter, he must have gotten a few new tables at one time. It took a while for him to get our drink order and deliver the wine and the cocktail . We did order appetizers at the same time so that helped get the evening moving along

We love Cooper’s hawk and always have a good experience. The last 2 times we’ve been to the downers grove location, our service has been lacking. Previously I had to find a manager because our server never brought our drinks and then disappeared. This time our food took over an hour to come out. They did comp one of our entrees and give us free dessert so they were on top of it. Having been a server myself, I know how hectic it can get so we want to give the benefit of the doubt. Hope to see better service next time.

Service wasn’t great. We were not asked if we were wine club members. When the bill came, I asked them to add the Cooper Hawk card. All other times that is the first question they ask and always come back to the table to say if you have rewards and how many bottles in your account. I was drinking hot tea. Each container of hot water was barely half full so I had to ask for more hot water 4 times. Only received a tea bag the first time. For 4.99 you would think you could get two tea bags. The last time I got a dirty look. We love this place and have never had a bad experience until now. The bathroom was a mess. There was no toilet paper and zero paper towels.

Great experience! Seated right away, followed by server. Knowledgeable server, great menu, delish food made a positive night out. We’ll go back. 👍

Disappointing. I had the flatbread and salad lunch combo. Asked for dressing on the side with the salad. It came with dressing on, and I said something, but they didn’t offer to take it back. The wedge comes with blue cheese and Italian. I could see the blue cheese salad didn’t realize the Italian was too. The flatbread was on the same plate and started to get soggy on the bottom from the Italian dressing, which is very thin. I had to move it to the bread and butter plate. If I would’ve realized initially that the Italian dressing was on, also I would’ve been insisted that they take it back. I have ordered this before. I never had this problem.
