Dining experience was great. Hostess was not happy I didn’t want to sit in main dining room after I reserved a bar booth on OpenTable. She rolled her eyes and sort of slammed the menus back down on the hostess table. Not a good start. Server was awesome and food great

Cooper’s Hawk is my absolute go to favorite restaurant. We were celebrating my best friends’s birthday. There was going to be 8 to 10 of us. I booked three weeks in advance specifically asked for the bar and for our favorite waitress. When I got there, they told me our table was set up in the dining room. We are regulars and asked specifically for the bar. I spoke to the manager. He was very accommodating and set up our tables in the bar as we requested. It was downhill from there. The food was subpar the chef special brisket flatbread was burnt to a crisp. The meat was inedible. We were told that’s how they cook it. Unfortunately, the table behind us also ordered the flatbread. Theirs was beautiful. The meat was perfect. The cheese was perfectly melted, and there was no burnt edges to be seen. They completely changed the happy hour the drinks and the food was totally overpriced. We order the bin 61 every time we come in. It was watered down. The sangria flight s were missing all of the garnishes. We had to get the manager to get the garnishes for the sangria flights from that point on he disappeared, and we never saw him again The service was slow. The signature S’More Budino, they ran out of. If this was my first time I would never come back. They were absolutely off their game. My member signature was not working. It was just totally a very sad and poor experience.

We made a reservation for 2 on a busy Friday night. We checked in 45 minutes early and were told by hostess we would receive a text when our table was ready. We went and walked around the mall, and returned to the restaurant at 8:30 inquiring about our reservation. The hostess was very short with us and said our table was ready and she would get it ready AGAIN. I started explaining I never received a text, email, call or any notification but she didn’t pay me much attention so my husband and I just stepped aside to wait patiently. The hostess proceeded to seat four more couples in front of us so my husband asked to speak to a manager. The hostess replied” sure I’ll get a manager” and turned from us never notifying anyone. We were then sat by a young man Sam who was very nice, we asked to see a manager after briefly explaining our frustration. Sam quickly notified the manager Justin who quickly came to our table to hear our concern. He was very apologetic, gave us coupons to pay for our entree and glass of wine. This was very unexpected. We appreciated his prompt service and we felt he was very interested in keeping our business. Our dinner and drinks were great as always and Justin delivered with his service recovery. We will just remember this as another great meal from Coopers Hawk thanks to Justin.

Dine here at least once a month with a couple of friends. We’re all wine club members. Have yet to a less than enjoyable experience. Always try the chef’s recommendation and monthly specials. A terrific restaurant!
