It’s a great energetic and fun vibe restaurant; however, the experience really suffered due to the extraordinarily long wait time for our food. Yes it’s Christmas Eve and I totally understand that, but it definitely was a downfall and ruined the happy jolly vibe at our table waiting so long for our food, over an hour.

In my opinion if you're a drinker you will get great service. As for someone that will not drink when out and about this place is not for me. The food was good and worth the money. But we were there for 2 hours at the table we had an appetizer and 2 main entree one was hot the other was Luke warm however the plate was very hot. Even though we got the appetizer in a timely manner it took over an hour between the appetizer and entree. How ever the tables that are drinking there service was great. As in the table of 6 that sat down after us and finished there food before us were still getting great service for there drink's and were there still after we left and still getting great service. So what this tells me if I drink I will be treated differently. Sorry just My opinion...

We have never been to Cooper's Hawk here in AZ. I went to one years ago in NW Indiana while visiting my family. So, since it was Christmas Eve, I hate to be negative as I know how busy there were. We have NEVER gone to eat on Christmas Eve at a restaurant, but I lost my Mom, and we needed a new diversion. Our server was Sara. She was very good & attentive as possible. We got shoved into the bar at an end table that was right by all the workers trying to sneak by to the bar for orders, and outside for diners out there. It was extremely loud and not very relaxing. The TV's were going, and loud music that was not anything close to Christmas. We tried 3 different wines, and all of them were bad. We each got a glass of the one that wasn't as bad. Not exactly what I want when I go out to dinner. I ordered the bite size pieces of filet with drunken shrimp, broccolini and potatoes. It was ok, but definitely nothing that made me think anything special. Also, got the mahi mahi at our table. Same thing, so so. The pretzel bread was pretty good. I hate to judge from a busy night, but we won't be back.

Amazing service by Gwen. She is our go-to for our Date nights because of her friendliness, order accuracy, helpful advice on menu items, and wine knowledge. The Manager TJ was also first class. When you have a plate overcooked or botched it is nice to have someone with the correct response. $hit happens at restaurants, so we don’t get upset. We give the Manager the chance to handle it appropriately. Surprisingly we had a dish overcooked. We mentioned it to Gwen, he response was perfect and then she got TJ to get management involved. TJ’s response was exactly what you would expect from a class A restaurant. No excuses, no diversion, just the appropriate agreement, solution, and offer of dessert. We drive from Surprise to go to the Chandler restaurant because of GWEN! and the Team in Chandler. We will be back…again and again.
