We have dined at Cooper’s Hawk many times. The food was just ok this time. We ordered the potstickers and the wedge salad to share. Those were good. I ordered the Valentine’s special Surf & Turf and my husband ordered the Filet off the regular menu. Both steaks were very overcooked. The best part of the meal were my toddler’s spaghetti and meatballs and the Valentine’s special dessert - Cremaux with toffee and coconut.

When we arrived we were early so we went to the tasting room. It was so crowded you couldn’t get up to the bar. The staff had you stand against the wall and wait like you were in elementary school. There was no control in moving people through. We never did get a chance to do a tasting and we were there an hour before our reservation time. When we went up stairs around our reservation time and had to wait another 30 min past our reservation time. We finally got seated and our waitress was good but the table behind was obviously intoxicated and yelling at the top of their lungs, dancing around the table and swinging their napkins around like they were at a club. My son was very uncomfortable. We said something to the server and she apologized but nobody did anything. There were several managers on site and they allowed this disruption and disrespectful behavior while others were trying to eat. The people next to us were just as disgusted. If we hadn’t waited so long I would have left. This was embarrassing, we are wine club members there and the management has no control over their dining room. The same group of people stated arguing with the server over $13 dollars on the bill so loud. They were so rude and so loud I couldn’t hear my family talking next to me. I’m not sure if we will continue to be wine club members. My husband was not happy. It was not how we wanted to spend a valentines dinner as a family and what a poor example for the kids in the restaurant and the lack of control the management had. Our server even said something to the manager and nothing. They didn’t even go up to the table and ask them to quiet down some.

Once we arrived, we had to wait 20-25 minutes for our table for a reservation at 10pm. When the host sat us at our table, we asked to be seated at a booth and the host had a slight attitude, “You can just follow me back up to the front then.” When we were seated at our booth, the waiter took a bit long with our drinks causing us to leave. If we were going to wait that long for our drinks, I know our food would’ve taken the same time. The place was very crowded inside as if there was no room to walk through. I’ll take the drive next time to the Virginia location. I understand it was Valentine’s Day but no.

My wife & I had an amazing time!! The food was AMAZING! Our server (Anna) was really patient, Helpful & attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The wine Float is great as well! 10/10
