We were there on a Sunday, late afternoon. The evening was spent swatting bees away from food and table. The food on this particular day was equivalent to apple bees. The decor was fabulous, we were told they have rotating chefs, I think we were they with the wrong chef.

The environment is so quant and welcoming. The staff is super nice and helpful. The bartender made our drinks perfectly. The food was beyond delicious. The brought our table complimentary cookies and milk for my birthday which was so sweet. The only thing a I’d say weren’t perfect was the bee issue outside and they come inside often and just be prepared to wait awhile for your food as it’s super fresh but worth every minute.

Found this place on our 21st wedding anniversary and decided to try it out. We weren't sure what to expect, as there were no details about the menu or how it worked on the website. Just pictures of food. We arrived early for our reservation, but the hostess seated us, after informing us, it was her 2nd day. Our anniversary was not even mentioned even tho I out it in the reservation. Would have been nice to been acknowledged. We set outside, very cute setup, vibe was great music, etc. She brought us water and a drink menu. After about 20 minutes, a woman approached and told us about the menu for tonight. She seemed very awkward and seemed bothered. She said she'd put our appetizer plate in. That was brought about 25min later and then she took our order. Our food was delivered 2 hours after we were set at the table. Bees were very bad, had to swat them away entire time. Another table was given a bottle of essential oils for bugs but we weren't offered that. Overall the food was ok, apps were different and unique, salad was nothing special. I had the pot roast, did not know it was served over grits, I don't like grits, but the meat was good. Husband had Salmon, was not impressed, said it was very bland, tasted like it was frozen. Sides were Pumpkin Mac n Cheese and mixed veggies. Mac n cheese tasted like stouffers, nothing special. Everything needed salt and pepper, but there was no salt and pepper anywhere. Dessert was peach crisp, seemed to be overloaded with sugar, very little crisp and the peaches were good. Would have been much better if served with ice cream. We weren't checked on other than bringing us a new bottle of water. Love the overall concept and feel the food can be good. Service was lacking, and I think they knew that as they gave us a discount without us saying anything. For a true farm to table experience, $75 per person is worth it, but things didn't seem to be truly fresh. We may give it another chance, we'll see.

We should have looked at the mix of 1 star and 5 star reviews. We have a 1 star. The appetizer plate was the only thing worth eating. Service was slow. We were seated inside at a table that my back was nearly against the bar. The first server that came in requiring me to move we asked to go outside with the bees. My lobster tails were so dry and cold, I didn’t eat either. There was no menu with 4 entrees and 3 sides to pick from. No prices either. Entrees were shepherds pie, stew, salmon and lobster tails. Sides were mixed vegetables, rice and pumpkin Mac and cheese. Dinner was not good. Guitar player was good. We won’t be back. A swing and a miss.

Coopers Alley has such a beautiful atmosphere and a good vibe. The farm-to-table quality of the food was incredible! Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! I will most definitely be returning in the future!

We went for a Sunday brunch! The pros - our server was great. She explained the concept very well (they do farm-to-table shared breakfast board, $18 per person). Another waiter came around to serve a specialty complimentary apple cider drink for fun. The atmosphere is so adorable, cozy, and unique. The food was very delicious and fresh. The cons - the wait for the food. We were literally the first table sat for the morning, and it took over an HOUR to get our food. It made no sense. Tables nearby also waited over an hour. Unacceptable in our opinion. Wish this wasn’t the case as it has so much potential

It’s always an experience when dining at Cooper’s Alley. The guitar player was excellent and we enjoyed the ambiance. As always Carrie is a gracious host.

We waited 50 minutes after being seated and never got any food. So we paid for our cocktails and left. Didn’t get an apology. Won’t be back under any circumstance.

Coopers Alley did not disappoint! The food and atmosphere was prefect! It is a super cute restaurant in the small town of Nashville, IN that you need to checkout!!
