Cool vibe. Food was great - try the monkey bread! Sela was a wonderful server!

Over all it was just OKAY. The drinks are fantastic, the vibes are immaculate, but the food was a let down. I had the French onion soup dumplings. Not an ounce of soup in them. They had an almost crispy outside to them. The crab pasta was alright, but very dry. It’s tossed in a tomato sauce that really sticks to the pasta but it needed a little more. My friend had the brussel sprouts and salmon, both of which were good.

I appreciate the accommodation of the host to allow us to sit in the swinging chairs…I thought I had booked them, but I didn’t…Our server was sweet…The food was good except for the crab pasta…I hope that recipe gets revamped…

I have walked past the Continental for years and for whatever reason just never stopped into to try it. We had a great casual Friday night experience. The varied food menu, great drinks and service combined for a super experience! We will be back!!

Music was loud, service was slow. Took 10 minutes after seated to get a waiter. Tried a few cocktails wasn’t impressed. The food was phenomenal though, and the swing chairs are the star of the show. A good place to go if you don’t mind a louder ambience. Will probably return

I’ve been to this restaurant many times before and have always enjoyed the food, but this visit was disappointing. When a dish passed by our table for another guest, I noticed an unpleasant smell but assumed it was something else in the environment. However, when our appetizer—the French Onion Soup Dumplings—arrived, it had the same off-putting aroma. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t make up for it. The food overall was overly salty, seemingly heavy-handed with soy sauce, which overpowered the flavors. It feels like there was once an incredible chef with great ideas, but the execution has slipped. The consistency I’ve come to expect just wasn’t there this time. That said, the service was friendly, and I appreciate our waitress’s attentiveness. I’m hoping this was just an off night, as I’ve had much better experiences in the past.

I ate here many years ago when the Continental was @ another location & had a great meal & wanted to come back so when I had opportunity to be in Philadelphia I went to this other location. Got there early at 4:50 and bar tender wouldn’t give us a drink off the happy hour menu that started at 5:00 which was a little annoying. Sat down for dinner and our 4 times came out within 10 minutes so our dining experience lasted a total of 30 minutes. Was Looking forward to the onion soup dumplings but we’re not as I remembered. Overall the service was great and liked the decor, if I come back in the warmer weather will try the rooftop deck!
