Dated decor, feels like a 80’s Italian restaurant style wise. Food was rather ordinary, drinks were ok although way overpriced. Ricotta appetizer was the highlight of the dinner, calamari appetizer insipid and lacking salt. The rigatoni with the wild boar sauce, were to start? The homemade rigatoni were too thin and overcooked, the wild boar ragout could have been regular beef it was so undefined in taste. Next on the list the fennel sausage pizza. Way too greasy but at least tasty and thin. Skipped the desserts because they were ridiculously overpriced for what they seemed to be in the description.

The food is good but too expensive for what it is. The service is terrible. Constantino helped us and he did not even take a drink order before asking for the food order. The food came at the same time (appetizers and entrees) and then our son’s meal came late. The table was always messy and they did not take empty plates on time. He did not come to check in with us. You are still forced to pay the gratuity of 18% even if the service is poor.

Shrimp ravioli was superb. The veal was a disappointment and crazy enough it was the most expensive item😵‍💫

We loved our experience at Contessa! The food was delicious and drinks were great! Music was a bit loud, so we have a difficult time talking a few times throughout the meal. However, we will totally be back and can’t wait to eat here again!

Best lobster pasta I have ever tried! Desserts need to be better. Bread quality needs to get better for the whipped ricotta

I recently dined at Contessa Miami and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere and service were enjoyable, but the food left much to be desired. To start, the octopus was a major letdown. It was tough and nearly impossible to cut through, making it difficult to enjoy. The crudo with artichoke was another disappointment; the artichoke was hard, and the overall taste was rather unpleasant. On a positive note, the beef carpaccio was outstanding—perfectly tender and flavorful, easily the highlight of the meal. The other main dishes were good, but the sides were unfortunately subpar, lacking the same attention to quality and flavor. Overall, while there were some bright spots, the inconsistencies in the food quality were hard to overlook. I expected more from a place like Contessa it makes me think to the time i visited casadonna .
