Consiglio's Restaurant: A True Taste of Italy in the Heart of New Haven's Little Italy District Consiglio's Restaurant has been a staple of the Little Italy district in New Haven for over 80 years. Wooster Street is so much fun! You probably can't go wrong eating at zny of the great Italian restaurants or "apizza" places there but Consiglio's is great. Sit outside on the patio and you feel like you are in Nonna's backyard in Italy. Service and food excellent with such a good homey vibe. And they have parking! Don't hesitate to make a reservation and enjoy this gem and area in New Haven.

We were seated promptly and on time with our reservation. Our waitress (Marissa) was congenial and helpful, however, our martini's were not made per our request; adding to that, the wrong meal was ordered by her for one guest (the birthday celebrant), who then had to wait additional time for her meal to arrive (several minutes after the other three meals were delivered). Also, even though the reservation advised we were celebrating a birthday, and we even mentioned this to our waitress, no "celebration" of her was made by the staff, and no accommodation was made for the error in the dinner order. The food, as usual, was very good, and these inconveniences will to deter us from returning.

Service was outstanding. Food was served in a timely manner. I had lasagna. It was outstanding. Not my all time best. But it was outstanding

Great atmosphere (dined on the patio) and service. Every member of Consiglio's was friendly, from the host to the waitstaff to those bussing tables. The food was delicious - fresh pasta is always the best. Not our first visit and certainly not our last.

Only a few restaurants really get it right, this is one of them. The best patio in New Haven! Ambiance, Quality of food and Attention to detail on point. Annnddd…. Gluten free homemade pasta!! 😍
