I brought a very special bottle of wine, and was shocked by the $65 corkage fee. Very disappointing.

Tuesday is a “off” day at Goodstone and food is served in the Bistro. Fare is casual and certainly not of the quality of the main dining room. I’m assuming it’s the back up kitchen crew. The atmosphere is delightful, service attentive. Plenty of staff on hand they just need to work on a consistent menu.

What a jewel! We were going to The Salamander Resort for a spa day and needed a local spot for lunch. Tucked away a top of a beautiful hill overlooking rolling meadows, we found the perfect spot. Food was great and service was top notch! Recommend highly!

While staying at the Salamander Resort, we were recommended to dine at Goodstone. The service provided by Goodstone was excellent. However, the menu options were disappointing. I ordered a charcuterie board but received a very incomplete one, which was baffling and disappointing. Additionally, my mom’s potato wedges were undercooked, and her chicken sandwich was over-fried. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant. I will not be returning.

Lovely setting! Disappointing meal with exception of dessert, crème brûlée, which was exceptional. Lovely young server but would benefit from additional training.

Enjoyable. Wonderful dinner and ambiance. Spaced out nicely. My only critique is that there weren’t any bread & butter plates. Bread and butter arrived well before dinner but nothing to put it on. I first thought it an oversight but when I looked around I didn’t see any on other tables. I definitely plan to go back. No photos as I actually did not take my phone.
