I took a friend for her birthday for the all you can eat crab feast. We had gone last year so we were really looking forward to a repeat. The waiter took a long time to acknowledge us and I think it was because the other table he was servicing had about 6 or 7 people which I guess meant his tip would be a bit larger than ours. The crabs were the real problem though, they were waterey and hallow - so very disappointing. I do not expect big crabs at a feast but it is nice when they are at least meaty plus the seasoning was caked on and wet - so bad. The food on the buffet was better, the chicken was very tasty which is the only reason I did not give it a one star.

Service from Meghan was friendly and helpful. Water served in pitchers made sense in this hot weather -so waitstaff was not bothered with refilling. Also a basket of popcorn. There were 3 or 4 menus and choices for everyone. Friend got a huge shrimp salad sandwich. Excellent. Other friend got a soft crab sandwich. Very good with half of each going home for another meal. It was a lot of food, all good. Will definitely go back!

First the good stuff. The Jumbos (@$180/dz) were excellent as were the sides of succotash and slaw. Service by Briana was outstanding as were little touches by others when needed. On the downside: We started with soft shells that unfortunately were heavily breaded and deep fried. Mostly a fried breading taste. The key question always is simple: would you get the dish again. No for the soft shells. Ambiance is a mixed bag depending were one sits from loud music and other background and hard benches to reasonably quiet soft, but tight fitting, booths. Our beers were ice cold as they should be.

It was good but I went here the night before and they never gave me my points. I actually talked to the host that checked me in and she said it was nothing she could do ask the waitress! I was weird she was the one that didn't give me my points and she said she remembered but couldn't do anything about it! The food is pretty good! The waiters are all very young and trained well! The shrimp and grits should be award winning. The jumbo crabs were 179 but they were good! The salads are always fresh and the cream of crab soup is an 8 out of 10!

Atmosphere was good. We had an excellent waitress, very knowledgeable and great attitude. I had stuffed shrimp which were just ok. I ordered a mango margarita and was informed they had no mango mix. Waitress suggested strawberry, ok well I had to send that back, not good!!! Replaced with an orangesicle slush, just ok. Should have stuck with water..LOL Friends had crabs, they said they were good.

Gary, our server, was so awesome! He made us feel welcomed and familiarized us with the restaurant and menu. He made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our steamed crabs! The crabs were perfect! Wonderfully seasoned and heavy. Also, my daughter got a kick out of the fact that the drinks were served in little pitchers!! Great experience overall!
