This place was definitely not what I expected, but nonetheless it did not disappoint. Everything was very fresh and delicious.

The clam bellies were as good as I ever had in Rhode Island. So happy to find someplace out here that had them as well as clamcakes and Rhode Island clear chowder. NE boil was cooked perfectly. Our server had all our food come out in courses since we ordered so much food to ensure everything would be hot and fresh tableside. We will be back.

Food was Ok, but not what we expected for a restaurant that had a 4.7 rating on Open Table. Service was excellent.

Our family has been coming here since it opened. We love the food. We are from the coast and we feel like we’re back there.

The food has gone downhill since they opened years ago, the fried calamari tasted like it was frozen from Trader Joe’s. The sundae was hardly that and one scoop with some burnt marshmallow fluff. Lobster roll was soaked in too much butter and the fried fish sandwich tasted oily. All in all the food sucked, but the only saving grace was our server Donovan. Great personality, attentive yet not overbearing service and always smiling. We deserved a better meal and he deserves to work in a better place. We tipped him well though since he was outstanding and the food wasn’t his fault. Used to be my favorite neighborhood joint, but we won’t be back. It just was bad, not to mention $17 to valet.

What an amazing find. The grilled Black Cod was prepared to perfection. The cocktail sauce on the shrimp was spicy but not overpowering. Drinks were great. And the carrot cake was so moist and big enough to share. Donovan our server was so much fun, knowledgeable about the menu offering suggesting and anticipated our every need. What a great place to have dinner!!!

I never post, but this is just one of top favorite restaurants in LA, and I had to give them a shout out. The food is always so good, from the oysters all the way to dessert, and so consistent, the place feels like a neighborhood restaurant but is worth going across town for, it’s not an annoying scene but it’s lively and fun. Just kudos to all of you. Such a pleasure. I look forward to eating here for another 20 years.

Always good here. An informal, fun neighborhood restaurant with consistently good food. Fish is always cooked perfectly.
