Confucius Chinese started as Chichester's most famous Chinese, renowned for its local touch and personal service. Since then, nothing much has changed, the same people still work here and we still use our secret recipes to create classic dishes.Gordon and Yvonne Lee are the owners and you'll probably get to meet them at the restaurant. We're a family run restaurant with a twist in modern British Chinese cuisine. We live in Chichester and know the area very well.

From start to finish we felt rushed. My wife went to the toilet and the food arrived shortly after she left the table, she was actually shocked to see the food had arrived so quickly. The food itself was average more onion than chicken in the szechuan. The waiter then started clearing the table before we had finished eating. Once finished the waiter presented us with a complimentary chocolate which when I took a bite of and placed the chocolate on the plate the same waiter returned to take the plate with the remaining chocolate. I told the waiter I wasn’t finished but he could take the plate as at this point I was disappointed. The waiter took the plate and returned with the bill even though we hadn’t been asked for it also we wasn’t asked about desert and we hadn’t even finished our drinks. We paid the bill and made a complaint on the way out which I think was ignored. Won’t be returning.

This is a small, family run Chinese restaurant right in the middle of Chichester. The team take a pride in their individual service and their chef’s delicious cooking. The atmosphere is convivial and friendly: as locals, we go every week. Highly recommended.

Food was delicious The actual restaurant itself was tired and in desperate need of some paint both instead and out! was a little chaotic at times but the food was top notch if you can ignore the decor. One thing that kind of put us off was you could see into the kitchen from our table and again lots of washing up cooking and craziness going on..dirty plates etc

This is a family business with the family present. This creates a lovely caring, jolly vibe. The food is what you'd hope for and hot. We left without taking our excess food in the container provided. Revisiting, the owner was already coming towards me with the container.

Fantastic restaurant. Our first visit and it lived up to its excellent reputation. This a bustling, super friendly Chinese restaurant and the food was outstanding, so fresh and full of flavour. Just a lovely place - go, you won't be disappointed!

Went there Thursday evening for a meal The overall experience was good The young man that served us was a bit eager to take away our starter plates asap !! But he is only training im guessing Food was absolutely gorgeous Id definitely recommend this restaurant

This is a charming family run restaurant: the food is freshly cooked. It is bustling and busy and the atmosphere is delightful: we are now regulars!

Over all everything was okay but it wasn’t very nice watching a new waitress on her first night being told off in front of everyone
