This year’s Thanksgiving experience begins with Pimento Cheese Devilled Eggs, Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts, and a Roasted Beet Salad with Whipped Burrata and Pistachios to share. I had booked a reservation for this brunch several days in advance. Upon arrival, they had limited tables and someone staying in the hotel had already put their name on the list waiting for a table. The staff seemed overwhelmed with the volume of people that they were serving, and it was obvious that the other table that waiting had been a bit more noisy and aggressive about their wait time. The restaurant decided to see them in the last table that was in the back primary seating area… And offered us a table as you walk in the front door away from all of the main dining. I declined it and waited for a table to be available. Upon being seated the service was fairly good and the food was amazing. I don’t think the situation was handled well, and I do not think they honored my reservation. It doesn’t give a clear perspective tocritique the situation with the stars… Because entry was not great but the dining experience was lovely. I think that there is probably not enough staff for a high volume periods of time and there is some additional training needed.

Service was pleasant but very slow. Wife was not are her dish included meat (description was not forthcoming). It was cold. Brussels sprouts were delicious. There was contain the bill and was billed twice.

The menu was interesting and had several good choices. The server was attentive and checked in appropriately. Unfortunately, even after two reminders that we had theatre at 8 pm (we arrived at 6:20 pm), our main course didn’t come to our table until 7:35 pm. For the price and an evening out, eating our main course in 15 min was not acceptable. The courses were good; the sea bass (well-prepared) dish was more Mediterranean than with traditionally southern dishes, succotash and johnny cake.

My daughter ordered a ribeye that wouldn't been out of place at a roadhouse in Montana, huge and tough. She said her teeth hurt trying to chew it. My fish was average and my wife's entree was, hum, none of us can remember what it was.

Everything we had was delicious the octopus the beets I had they spinach, ravioli an entrée, and my husband had sea bass. Good attentive service. I wasn’t expecting much and a hotel restaurant, but it was actually very good.
