Restaurant Review: We recently dined at Community Brew & Tap with a group of eight, and while the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few noteworthy details to mention. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was attentive for the most part. However, if you’re sticking to water, you’ll be left to refill your own glass, and there was a slight delay when it came to refills for those ordering other drinks. Our group didn’t order alcohol, so this might be a factor worth considering. One thing to note is that the specials are significantly more expensive than the main menu items. For example, the filet with bone special was excellent, but it was double the price of the filet on the main menu. Similarly, the ribeye special, also at double the price, was a disappointment – tough and not nearly worth the premium. The sides are advertised as shareable, but they fell short in terms of portion size. The "shareable" sweet potato, for instance, was just one potato, which left us a bit underwhelmed. For a party of eight, the total bill came to around $1200, which felt steep, especially given the uneven experience. While the ambiance and service were commendable, the price and portion inconsistencies might make us think twice about returning.

My husband and myself ate here yesterday for my pre birthday celebration. The food overall was excellent. It was all served hot! Not Luke warm! We had several items we shared between ourselves including the drinks. He ordered the Ribeye and he stated it was the best steak he ever had. We also tried the shrimp and pasta, ceasar salad , mac and cheese and lobster and shrimp. Everything was excellent. We have already referred other family and friends if near to come and eat enjoy the experience offered by your restaurant!

I took my wife here for her birthday, and it blew us away with how amazing it was!! Everything down to the service and atmosphere. They definitely want to provide an utmost experience to anyone dining in. We also went on a Friday, which they have live singing going on, which sounded incredible! My wife's sister's family lives in this town, so we visit them quite frequently. And now, we look forward to coming back to CB&T!!

This is the only place we eat outside of our home. We make everything we eat. Tonight I have learned yet another way to use a sourdough starter. Your springy Sourdough Focaccia woke my Portuguese grandma outta her sleep, Amen. Second time we've had the french fries. Shoestrings are nice, but we'd pay extra for thicker fries. Thank you for your dedication to unparalleled service. 😇

I have had the pleasure of eating at Community Brew and Tap on several occasions and the most common comment is - hard to imagine a restaurant of this caliber in Cornelia Ga. Aside from top notch steaks, we have enjoyed their fresh oysters and mixed drinks - all of which are outstanding. Beyond that their staff has always been friendly and engaged and they have been very accommodating of my father's wheelchair. For those of us who remember their building when actually was a bank - the renovation they have accomplished is astounding. Certainly an asset to the downtown area and its revitalization.

Our experience from walking into the restaurant to walking out was nothing short of PHENOMENAL. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday; as soon as we walked in the door the hostess handed him a card stamped with a wax seal signed by the staff wishing him a happy birthday. The atmosphere is quiet and elegant downstairs. The music was the perfect volume while the lighting was dim and set the tone for an intimate dinner experience. Our server was outstanding. Lauren explained menu items to us and answered all questions we had. She was very attentive to our needs making sure our experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was heavenly. Every bite was consistent in flavor. We can’t wait to go back again.
