Excellent food with very generous portions. Service was very good with pleasant and attentive servers. The seats are not super comfortable and the layout of the room does not separate the main dining area from the bar very well, so it is loud. Regardless, we will go back. It was a lovely evening and an excellent meal.

The appetizers and salads were excellent! My daughter and I had salmon and it was delicious…perfectly cooked! My husband and sons got steak and 2 of them were prepared well and although slightly more rare than they asked for they both enjoyed them. My others sons piece of meat was almost inedible, with a tendon running through the whole piece. We did notify the waiter and he graciously took it off our bill. We really enjoyed our meal aside from the one issue. Definitely recommend!

A good local restaurant has fallen apart. The menu is very limited now. In fact, the printing is so light it is almost impossible to read it. The food quality has deteriorated. "Rare to medium-rare", "medium-rare" and "medium" were identical. Service size has shrunk. For years it had been one of our usual spots. Bye-bye!

Haven't been to Commoner since it was a breakfast and lunch restaurant as well - before COVID. I like the small concise menu. Will definitely return.

Friendly service and good food. The menu is limited though there is enough variety to please everyone. The portions were normal and healthy but some might think on the small side. They had a couple pasta dishes but I was surprised that they didn’t offer a gluten free pasta option. The restaurant is a good choice for a quiet romantic dinner.

We have stopped at Commoner and Co. as we drive through Tucson and make it a priority, if possible, to eat at. We met friends here and unfortunately, the menu was much smaller, lacking the yummy seafood options and frankly, variety of options, I remember. The choices were pretty limited and while it all tasted fine, it didn't live up to our past experiences.

We had a wonderful meal here. The menu is eclectic, and the dishes prepared and served with care. We had the mussels, beet salad, kale salad, risotto, and both desserts, and all were excellent. We’ll be back!

Ordered a basic dinner salad and the dressing was so spicy, had to return it. Salmon okay but nothing knocked me out other than the service--which was super.
