Our first visit to the Common Restaurant was awesome and Gabby was terrific in guiding us to delicious dinner choices. Excellent wine list too.

Popped in for brunch on a Wednesday while visiting. Olivia took great care of us! Had the Bottomless Mimosas , Brunch bowl and Bananas Foster French Toast stack. So good! Will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful dinner served by an awesome waiter. Very personable, timely and not pushing us to leave. We ate early and were given a table upstairs which we loved. Ordered mushroom bruschetta, Brussels sprouts and fried green tomato caprese apps. All delicious!!! Split the gumbo which was so cheesy and delicious! We both thoroughly enjoyed our time and said to each other the next time we are in Savannah we will go back. Hubby had honey brown ale, me the Malbec and both were also delicious! Brussels sprouts are almost like dessert! We were the first diners for dinner and when we left the place was packed.

I am always looking for a restaurant that will have something my vegan husband can eat, and hopefully even enjoy. This one absolutely hit the spot for us both! The vegan fettucine was very flavorful and the shrimp and rice grits was both tasty and generously portioned. We sat up on the balcony with a great bird’s eye view of the goings on below. Our waitress Sam took excellent care of us. We will definitely return on our next pass through Savannah!

The brunch menu is outstanding, I had the avocado toast, and my wife enjoyed the shrimp and grits! The Common twist on these dishes is uncommon (pardon the pun). I had the Chicken and waffles last vit and that was great too! Bottomless Mimosas to, I had the Bloody Mary which was scrumptious. BTW the service is excellent. We will return.

Wanted to Take my sweet cousin to Ordinary Pub after getting facials for her Birthday but sadly discovered they were ( hopefully) temporarily closed. They recommended Common Restaurant as an alternative and I think maybe I have a NEW favorite!! Stephanie- the GM, was so fantastic! She greeted us as soon as we were seated and made our entire experience a delight- she started with a sweet message “Happy Birthday Sherrie!” on the vintage reader board, which I found so charming- also had a personal note on the table, wishing my cousin a happy birthday as well. Food was fantastic- I had the Southern hash w fried chicken and she got the Pulled pork bowl. Of course we had to try the Grit Fritters- superb in the melted Gouda! At the end of our meal after multiple times of checking on us and telling us to continue enjoying, Stephanie brought us cute little tin boxes filled with sweets from the bakery and an adorable enamel pineapple pin! Olivia was a splendid server and sent us off with “Traveling Champagne” to keep the celebration going. Definitely recommend and will return on our next visit❤️

I had some friends come into town to celebrate one of their birthdays. I had made the reservation here as it was across from the Marshall House where we were staying. Everyone was so nice and the guys was delicious.
