   We sat at the bar for our anniversary, and had the best experience. From the moment we walked in, and the manager with the bow tie greeted us, we felt truly valued and taken care of. Olivia was our bartender, and her calming personality allowed us to enjoy our time there without feeling rushed or like we were a burden. Shawn, the sommelier, talked to us about wines that we all love, and educated us on a new wine that we can’t wait to try. We shared oysters, a salad, and pickled fries, and everything was super flavorful and had a cool twist to it. We liked how the chef spins classic favorites to make them slightly elevated and interesting. I have been in the service industry for a long time, and it can be easy to become jaded when it comes to things like birthdays and anniversaries. The staff at Common treated us like they’ve known us for years, and I cant recommend this place enough. Especially in such a tourist town, it was refreshing to find a place where we felt so valued.

   Really enjoyed our dinner experience tonight! We did the tasting menu and each course was delicious and beautifully presented. The servers were knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations! The wine Pairings were perfect! Fantastic evening and highly recommend!

   Loved having breakfast/brunch during our stay in Savannah. Our server was so friendly and personable, I wish I could remember her name. Food was great and large portions, we would definitely go back.

   We really enjoyed our experience! I loved my food—very fresh and creative. The atmosphere was fun and lively and comfortable. The wait staff was excellent. My husband didn’t love his meal as much as I loved mine, but that is our only complaint.

   One of the most extraordinary dining experiences we have ever had and we eat out a lot. The food was innovative and delicious. Sam, our server could not have been more helpful. She knew the details of every dish enabling us to make informed decisions about our dinner selections. The fried green tomato caprese raised the usual caprese to anew level. Th “Situation” which was mahi mahi over a grilled pineapple stuffed with pineapple fried rice was really unique and presented beautifully. The homemade banana pudding outshone any banana pudding we’ve ever had. We will certainly return to Common in the future when we pass through Savannah again.

   Had a great brunch! The bottomless mimosas were delicious, and a pretty great deal. The only thing was that they refilled for you, the carafe is not on your table. The bananas foster French toast was delicious, as were the skillet mac n cheese, the chicken and waffles, and the steak, eggs, and grits. Our server told us they are a scratch kitchen, so they swapped out ingredients for dietary restrictions super easily.

   Came here with a reservation for my bachelor party weekend, and was seriously impressed. The atmosphere was great, not stuffy at all but still definitely more upscale than your standard restaurant. Not only was the table ready 10 minutes early, but they even wrote a little note with a small gift to congratulate the occasion! Our server was great, even with a party of 7 guys who were definitely never all listening at once. I got the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings. It included 5 courses (plus a palette cleanser sorbet before entree), all with 3oz pours of wine paired for every food selection. The food was phenomenal, I loved every course, and the wines were all great compliments. They were also generous with the wine, all but the bubbly were definitely over 3oz pours. I was also impressed with the portion sizes for each course. I was able to share with my friends and never felt gypped, especially given the price. I would highly recommend Common if you’re visiting Savannah, no matter the occasion!

    We went for my husband's birthday. The food was good and our waitress Tricia really made the evening special.
