Nested in Uphams Corner, Dorchester, we're a lively and intimate 30-seat restaurant serving brunch on the weekend and dinner at night with a full bar and outdoor patio. Our food is a celebration of the ingredients and flavors of the African diaspora connected from Asia to the Americas — global comfort food. We are proudly Black-owned, immigrant-owned, and women-owned. We believe that food is a vital aspect of community building and we envision a place that is actively engaged in highlighting the culture, art, and history of our community.

- Patio dining: patio reservations are weather-dependent and may be canceled due to inclement weather. Our patios are partially covered protecting from light to moderate rain and light wind.

- Timing: dinner's last seating is at 8:45pm and brunch's last seating is at 1:30pm. Your table is reserved for 90 mins for parties of 1-5 guests and 2 hrs for parties of 6+ guests.

Les plats s'inspirent de saveurs et de produits propres à la diaspora africaine, comme le bœuf suya aux oignons caramélisés à la façon ouest-africaine ou le kelewele, une spécialité ghanéenne à base de bananes plantain relevées aux épices.     Loved everything! Food was amazing. Cocktails equally wonderful menu of new experiences. Front of house were super too!

    very interesting and tasty food, and great drinks. The place was surprisingly noisy at lunch time. By the time we finished, we wanted to get out of there!

    Comfort kitchen is amazing. They have unique and delicious drinks and a small menu so you can be confident that anything you order will be fantastic. Would absolutely recommend!

    It’s a small restaurant with a relaxed, informal atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. The food was special- so delicious that my husband, son and I agreed that this was our favorite restaurant. It appeared that other customers were having similar reactions, which added to a wonderful dining experience.

    Overall great experience at comfort kitchen. Welcoming staff, a different cozy bright atmosphere that we enjoyed. Drinks were delicious, jerk sliders are a must. Our mains duck, and monk fish had great flavors! Definitely recommend.

    This place is my new favorite Boston restaurant period. The food is delicious, creative, and completely unlike what you'll find at most fine dining restaurants. The cocktails are unique, inventive and f%&# delicious, the vibe and service is perfect and the location shines a spotlight on Boston community that remains "off the map" even most locals. Truly a neighborhood gem, and a reflection of the very best the real Boston has to offer - but don't tell anyone, it is hard enough to get a reservation as is!
