Comery Block Barbecue is a West-Tennesse barbecue restaurant and bourbon bar located in the heart of 17th Avenue, Calgary, Alberta.

Our meats are smoked from 10-14 hours daily, and include our famous brisket, pulled pork, turkey, nashville hot chicken, and more. Behind the bar, we’re stocked with over 150 whiskey and original hand-crafted whiskey cocktails – each one created in-house by our talented team.

Great service, ran out of couple whiskey but plenty of other choices. I always go back. Great whiskey choices.

Food and service were excellent, and our table was ready for us just prior to our reservation time. We found it a little noisy for talking because we're not of the younger generation, but the vibe was good and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The food is really nice the beers are good the staff are great, I really recommend going to the place and trying everything There was only one downfall The miserable bald dude behind the bar . I asked him politely for a drink and a picture he replied with arrogance that he was busy. Bloody hell take more bar staff on it was a Monday night. 🔴⚫️⚪️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 In the end he was nice !

Hipster vibe. Extensive whisky list. Good selection of draight beer. Meats pretty good but sides atrocious. Coleslaw was inedible. Mac and cheese was so spicy that half our group was repulsed (yet no mention of spice on the menu). Overall ok but no rush to go back.

Really good ribs for Monday Promotion. Will be back to try more things! Also the bacon wrapped corn on the cob.. omg so good!

I’d thought I’d give Comery a chance again but the brisket keeps coming very fatty, I’d say half of my meal was unedible fat. Also, the service was really spotty for our table. While we saw other tables being served and food being brought, our server didn’t check on us for very long periods, so bad that we had to ask one of the floaters to take our orders, and of course on of the plates served was wrong
