We really enjoyed our evening at Comedor. Food and service were outstanding and we will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Comedor is such a beautifully light venue with such a nice vibe for lunch or dinner. The service was impeccable throughout and the flavour combinations of the food were so interesting and delicious! Will definitely be returning & would definitely recommend!

Service was so poor. They seemed to have staff but we had to continually ask for everything. Couldn’t even give us a menu each had to share. Not rushing back

Overall experience was average. Booking for 7pmbut we got our table only 30mins later. No one to host or tell us what was going on. We learnt later on that they were understaffed for the evening. We ordered our drinks and got them only 20+ mins later. Scallops and shrimps were overcooked. Mole was nice. Staff was overall friendly. For 200aud in total, we can expect a better overall experience. We may come back... see if things have got better. Too much hype I'd say

Love the space. The vibes are very cool and attention to detail in terms of styling is there. The food was okay. The artichoke dish was yummy and the charred cabbage a surprising delight. I felt as though every dish was missing something. The tostada needs some vibrancy and freshness to cut through that smoky layer underneath. The prawn was over cooked. The crudo felt more asian in flavour than mexican and could have done with more herby intensity. The scallop was cooked to perfection but the butter and vinegar dressing lacked so much depth. The wine list is cute and I liked the option of local beers. The cocktails however seriously need an overhaul. We tried 3 and they tasted like mocktails. The table next to us agreed. Cocktails should be boozy! The table next to us also commented that the food and the flavours were confused. I couldn’t agree more. Advertised as Mexican and tasted more inspired by than anything close to authentic. Where was the spice? Fusion can definitely work. Bad Hombres nail it. But this overall felt like it was trying too hard and missed the mark for me.

Fabulous dining experience. Staff were friendly and helpful with our order. The food was beautifully presented and the cocktails were great. We'll be back. Thank you.
