The name “Colombo” is the Italian form of “Colomba” the latin word for “dove”, which is the “Bird of Peace”. It is in the spirit of peace that friends and family gather to celebrate the every day occurrences that touch our lives. Great food, drink and conversations are the cornerstones for the sharing of these convivial, day-to-day passions at our Italian restaurant.

Colombo’s Cafe & Pastries stands for the beloved concept born in Italy of the “gathering place”… truly a place that “welcomes everyone, every day… at any time” translating as “Benvenuti a tutti” in Italian, whereby the tried and true, centuries-old tradition of “all are welcome” prevails.

As always, Colombo’s was great. Food was excellent and fairly priced and the service was very good too! Kudo’s to the entire team! It’s one of our “go to” places in Hyannis.

My recent dining experience was quite disappointing, especially for an anniversary meal. The atmosphere was uncomfortable from the start, as a fan kept blowing directly at my face and shoulders, despite it being only 55 degrees outside. It made for a chilly and unpleasant experience throughout the meal. Adding to the disappointment, the restaurant had run out of filet mignon, which seemed surprising given that it was only 6 PM on a Monday and the menu isn't very large to begin with. The service was just okay—no warmth or extra effort to make the evening feel special. We switched from risotto to vegetables with our meal, only to be charged extra without any prior notice. While I understand that additional charges aren’t unusual, it would have been nice if they had informed us ahead of time. Overall, there was a lack of attention to detail or an effort to go the extra mile, which made the experience feel lackluster. This was not the special evening I had hoped for, and I will definitely choose a different place for future celebrations.

We enjoyed Columbo's so much that we went back for a second night during our stay in Hyannis. The first time we chose the fish dishes and last night we ordered the house made pasta and the caprese salad. Another amazing meal and such a nice atmosphere. Excellent place to return to!

We had the most delicious dinner! The clam chowder came out steaming hot, the salad was incredibly fresh and the bread was perfect. We ordered the sole and the cod and shared those entrees and both were perfect! The fish was so fresh and great veggies to accompany the meal. Our server was excellent and came back to check on us but also gave us plenty of time. It is the kind of restaurant that you feel very at home in. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Just a fun, delicious place to go. My first time and we had great food. It took too long for the entrees to arrive, but oh well. Oysters were sweetest we have ever had....entrees were all awesome. Stayed for an after dinner drink and pastry and was also good.... Go for: veal parm, any kind of homemade pasta, oysters, food made with care.

The food here is always delicious. We always start with an order of the meatballs or the stuffed pepper. Eggplant parm appetizer is also good. Fish is a great dinner option here. The schrod milanese, nut encrusted pan sauteed salmon & lemon sole are all excellent choices. Save room for dessert - cannoli's and ricotta pie are 2 favorites. Prices are very fair, wait staff is polite and attentive. A+

We had a delicious meal, chicken, Parm, beef bolognese , and Breaded salmon. Jacqueline was our waitress. Very attentive. Cannoli and carrot cake for dessert. Bolognese was a little spicy but good
