                                                                                                  My (Sri Lankan) dad had visited with a friend a few months ago and since its relatively local we thought we'd try it out as a family for Fathers Day. It took a good few minutes just to get noticed / seated, and things steadily went downhill from there. Slow service from the off - even water for the table took about 20 minutes. We were there for a total of 1hr 45 or so, managed some starters which were honestly terrible for supposedly authentic cuisine. No noticeable flavour, the lamb rolls were served up with regular ketchup, the vadai (£6 for three) were tiny, and the paneer tacos (yes, tacos, at a Sri Lankan place..) were actually a regular wrap, dripping in oil and obscenely priced at £12.50. Plates took ages to clear, we were asked to keep our cutlery from the starters which was bizarre, and the generally lacklustre attitude left us underwhelmed enough to forego any mains. 5 hoppers, 2 rolls, 3 vadai, and the 'taco' thing, plus 3 cokes - £62. Madness, frankly. Even London based restaurants don't charge that much - look up Jaffna House in Tooting for a comparison, and how this cuisine should be made. Luckily the bad experience gave us some funny talking points which was something. Never again.

                                                                                                  They were very busy but the service was still excellent both in timeliness and cheerfulness of the Waiters. We were given the opportunity to see the food being prepared and the Waitress explained how the ingredients are used. Food was tasty and very well presented. Definitely a place we would recommend.

                                                                                                  We have been here many times and is one our favourite local restaurants. However the last two times we have been disappointed, with food- both taste & length of time to arrive. A second restaurant has v recently been opened in Putney and I wonder where this had impact. I hope not in the long term

                                                                                                  Just so delicious. Some of the nicest food I’ve ever eaten. No long waits for service, nor for the food itself. Really cosy restaurant with an open kitchen. Would come back in a heartbeat and eat it all again. It’s difficult to pick highlights from the dishes because they were all so good ☺️🙌🏽
