Cinnamon Gardens in Colombo 7, Sri Lanka, is a region named after the plantations that over 100 years ago, covered the land and produced the world’s finest cinnamon. Today, this affluent area is better known for its beauty and natural purities aligned with stylish cafes, galleries and wonderful street-food.

With family and a history in Colombo, our aim is to bring a taste of our Sri Lankan heritage to Buckinghamshire, England through our unique menu based upon old family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. Passionate about sustainability, we work with local suppliers to help support fellow independent businesses both in Great Britain and Sri Lanka and with contemporary infusions of our home country’s vibrant flavours, we are proud to introduce you to Colombo 7 Cinnamon Gardens.

Delicious food, very attentive manager/owner. Would highly recommend the squid starters and the fish curry. Parathas were divine too!

It was truly excellent last night thank you. The food was delicious. I loved the new menu. The space was immaculate, clean ordered and very inviting. And the staff are wonderful too. All round 5/5. Superb. Thank you.

Fantastic meal. Service was amazing and the food was evening better at a reasonable price. While the menu was compact there was plenty there that was appealing. Can’t wait to go back and try it all.

Superb food and service. Highly recommend. We were a large group of 11 and despite the numbers changing many times prior to booking they could not have been more helpful. The shared starters came promptly followed at the perfect time by main courses then dessert. Excellent value too. Everyone commented afterwards that they will definitely return. Thank you.

This is the second time we have been there. Our dining experience was as good as the first time especially with lots of new things on the menu. The Jaggery beef, Jaffna spiced lamb and the wild boar were so delicious. Being Sri Lankan myself I am familiar with the cuisine and it was as good as I have eaten in Sri Lanka. For me personally I could have taken a bit more chilli but all in all it was a delicious meal. The whole family enjoyed it. I would like to come back and taste the packet of rice with all the curries some of which I don’t cook at home. So a good excuse to go back again. The staff were lovely and attentive and a very pleasant three hours was spent in a lovely atmosphere!! Oh I also must mention the portion sizes are very generous and contributes to very good value on the whole. Loved the home made ginger beer !! Thank you.
