Overall nice place and will come back. The food was great, love supporting local farmers… my Squash Pasta was served luke warm but edible. The servers were very kind but also very inexperienced for this level of dining. They need to explain and be familiar with the menu, website specials etc. They need to learn to open a wine bottle, replace silverware, and just up their game to the level of the establishment. I would dim the lighting a bit as well. I hope you succeed as I think you have a great concept and with some fine tuning can really excel.

Presentation was lovely. The food was excellent. My only criticism is that some of the portions were a bit small. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive.

Superb experience. The owner, Jeanette, clearly wants her customers to have an exceptional experience! Chef Lisa impressed me. Beautiful decor, impeccable service, a lovely wine selection and gourmet farm-to-table cuisine all explode into a sensuous moment here. Try this place or miss something special.

Food and service were ok but not great, especially for the price. The value was very low. Service staff were very friendly and the owner's friend gave a nice gift, but I think the price of the gift was baked into the price-fixe meal cost. The receipt included a 30% tip suggestion on top of the meal costs which were absurd. Food was tasty enough but definitely not worth $130 each. Sizing and portion was on the small side. Quality was B+ tops. Would not go back.

We appreciate you and all of our guests. We buy as much of our proteins and produce as we can locally at fair market prices. We also pride ourselves on serving portions that support healthy and nutritious eating habits. Bokujoy an organic spa business in the community. She gave a complimentary gift to every customer completely at her own expense out of pure gratitude, not only for what we are doing, but also for what you are supporting. The only thing “baked” into the experience was love and kindness. While her generosity might seem unfathomable to you, She wanted to give you and your family a gift of peace and relaxation. 30% gratuity is 1 of the 6 gratuity suggestions. Any amount is appreciated by the staff who gave up Christmas Eve with their families to be of service to yours.

Very lovely ambiance and service. Food was excellent. The meat in the beef Wellingtion was truly exceptional. The squash soup, bland and boring, was the only disappointment. For the prix fixe dinner of $130 on Christmas Eve, some bread should have been offered, I think. We are looking forward to another meal there in the future.

A beautiful dining experience. I love the concept of supporting local farmers in the community. We sometimes forget how important eating real food is. Collettes’s serves real food and they do it well. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We felt cared for. The new chef serves portions that fills you up without overstuffing you! Based on the quality of food, and the sustainable way they are sourcing it and preparing it, the prices are more than fair. I will only eat at places with quality food, and I am willing to pay a little more for it. I am worth it! We are all worth good food! I will definitely dine again and share it with my friends. Thank you for being here Collettes’s!

This was our first time dinning at Collette’s. The food was delicious. We had the scallops and the steelhead trout. All the food tasted wonderfully fresh and was creatively prepared. Annie and all the staff were attentive and pleasant.

It was the best dining experience we’ve had in a long time! The food was absolutely incredible and they paid attention to every little detail! And not just to the food, but to the place settings, the chairs, the cucumber water, the amuse bouche, the palate cleanser, literally everything. Even the bathrooms were creative and pleasant. The ambience was warm and comfortable, and the noise level was just right. The service was also incredible, never had to ask for anything, and gave great recommendations from the menu. The Pork Tomahawk was on this delicious polenta and chorizo size and we loved it! We also loved the Farmer’s Vegetables and the drinks we had. I never write reviews, but I really want to support this local restaurant because it is excellent and we will definitely be going back!

This is little gem in downtown Escondido I had the scallops which were delicious. My husband had the skirt steak which was also very good. The portions are not large but it was enough. The pistachio gelato-very rich and creamy We will be back!
