This is the first time we have visited since the relaunch under new management. The overall experience was much improved since the last time we visited. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was well cooked and presented. We will go back in the future.

Having had some truly terrible meals at The College Arms over recent years, we had stopped going to what had once been a much-loved regular. We are happy to say that under new management, The College Arms is back. The menu is varied enough that there is something for everyone, and what we had was fresh and cooked with care. The trout was perhaps slightly over, but forgivably so as it was still delicious. The Ploughman’s came with a homemade picallili that was reportedly excellent. Even the club sandwiches received high praise and the truffled potato tots that the table shared were a revelation. Service was friendly and efficient, and our food arrived together and at the correct temperatures. If - like us - you had given up on The College Arms, please give it another go and support the new team. We certainly did not regret it, and look forward to returning.

Delicious fish and chips with everything cooked to perfection even a choice of types of peas. Great chef! Wonderful dessert as well - popcorn working surprisingly well with cheesecake.

Food is good but maybe menu needs an upgrade now summer finally here a few more salads - chicken ceaser and a lighter menu but perhaps it was their Sunday menu we had!
