The food was for sure the best part. I loved the drink I ordered. Pacos something. It was a tequila and grapefruit drink. Delish!! I also ordered the halibut special. It was pretty good. The tempura avocado with crab was my favorite. My husband got the filet and it was very well prepared and full of flavor. The waiter was average. We got our apps before we got our drinks. Then at the end of the meal, he asked if my husband was done with his beer, there was one big sip left in the glass, and when my husband said not yet, the waiter asked him to finish it so he could clear the table. It was a bit rude to ask him to do that and force us to hurry a bit. The meal was over $200 for both of us and while the food was great, it’s a lot for just two people. We would be happy to go again but will wait for a super special occasion to spend that kind of money.

Absolutley wonderful dining. Food and drinks are always superb. We dined outside under the tent and even in 90 degree weather we remained comfortable. The steak special was incredible. If you like Caesar salads try their grilled one. It’s a game changer! Overall one of the best restaurants in Lexington.

Great food and better service. We had the Cobia and Duck Confit. Both were prepared perfectly.

Coles on Main is our absolute favorite place to eat in Lexington. They have some wonderful options on their menu, not to mention, the specials they offer. They use locally grown produce, when available. It is obvious their kitchen staff knows what they are doing! The last two times we were there, we were celebrating birthdays. Each time we were greeted with several of the staff wishing us a happy birthday and they also gave us a complimentary dessert, with a candle ,after our meal, but don’t worry, there is no singing to embarrass or draw attention. Finally, I have to say the servers are top notch! This restaurant is amazing, but without good, highly qualified, knowledgeable,friendly people to serve you, it wouldn’t be the same. My only regret is I forgot to take pictures of our food. We rate this a 10 out of 10

Coles is always reliable, great food, superb service. We sat in the outdoor tent, and it was nice and cool, the traffic was a little loud but hard to control that.
