This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

    Always enjoy the consistently delicious menu items, and was so pleased to see so many specials on Valentine’s Day weekend. Some complementary bubbly to start was a nice touch.

    Higher end prices, but an excellent experience and service. You can easily spend a romantic night for a few hours.

    ColdWater Cafe, is our favorite restaurant for so many reasons. They made our Valentine’s Day so special and our dinner was AMAZING! We cannot wait to come back soon for more.

    Never disappoints! Food was excellent (the quiche was amazing) and the tea cake to share for dessert was the perfect way to finish. Our server, Brandi, is a real pro and always make you feel comfortable. Even though it was Valentine’s Day we were not rushed. Coldwater Cafe has been doing a lot of things right for a long time so it is a well oiled machine. Clearly one of the best if not the best restaurant in the region.

    Wonderful dinner the duck was great. We both loved our desserts the bread pudding and the bourbon pecan pie

    Our second time here and just as good as The first time. I had the Ribeye and my wife had the Salmon for dinner, we also had the Brussel Sprouts for an appetizer and they were fantastic. Service was spot on. Did have to wait a little longer than my reserved time but not much and it was worth the wait. We will be back.

    It is always a treat to visit Coldwater Cafe! Today was exceptional! Our server gave us time to chat before ordering and continued to fill our mint tea glasses without asking. Our food was delicious and fresh. My friend had the chicken salad and I had the steak salad. The bread is a great addition with its delicious taste. We had plenty of time to talk and eat without pressure. Lastly, the dessert! My friend had the peanut butter fudge cake and I had the carrot cake. Oh my! Both are the perfect ending if you have a sweet tooth. Wonderful day! Thank you Coldwater Cafe!

    Our first time but we will definitely go back. Food and service were excellent. Unique setting and decor.
