This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

    Have ate here several times, first for lunch. Menu was limited and our server was less than pleasant. She did her job, but nothing above that. Not a welcome and never smiled when interacting with us. Maybe that is old fashion but part of customer service. My job requires me to interact with the general public and sometimes you have to take it. I will still go back, but not for lunch. Totally different experience.

    Omygoodness, fun, excellent food, great service. Quite busy, thank goodness for reservations. Can't wait to go back! They do very well, all around.

    It's always a treat -- and well worth the 25-mile drive -- to dine at Coldwater Cafe. It is a bit pricey, so we save this for special occasions.

    Miss the booths!! Not as cozy as it used to be to be. There in December and no fire going. Husband has a seafood allergy and quiche of the day was crab along with specials being seafood. Not very accommodating for allergies.

    We have been to Coldwater Cafe many times and will continue to return. Exceptionally prepared and unique menu choices along with excellent service and hospitality every single time.

    Food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. Our server was delightful but slow. Our party of three was there for two hours for lunch.
