This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

    Dining at Coldwater Cafe is such a pleasure! The atmosphere is cozy, it's quiet enough to carry on a conversation and the food is amazing! There's nothing on the menu that isn't delicious and there are many choices! And all the desserts are made on property by the pastry chef. It's excellent for special occasions or for no reason at all. Must try! You'll be back time and time again! Favorite dining spot for sure!

    Delicious as usual. We come here often because it is so good! Had the mussels in wine sauce-the best! New York Strip steak was perfect. Get the carrot cake and share. It's huge and yummy.

    My husband and I first time at Coldwater Cafe. Celebrated my birthday and everything was exceptional from dirty martini (thanks John) to the last course of our meal! Kelly was our waitress and an excellent experience server. We will definitely recommend and come back. I highly recommend mussels for the first course of your meal.

    Wonderful lunch with two good friends. Always fun to talk to the owner Nick before our meal. He’s always so nice & personable. Always taking time to talk with his customers! If you’ve not made a trip to Tipp City to eat @ Coldwater Cafe don’t miss out on a wonderful meal. This local restaurant is located in a vintage bank building with all the fixtures still a part of the experience. Ask for a table in the vault you won’t be disappointed.

    As always. Great place. Great food. Great drinks. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner with nice atmosphere

    Coldwater Cafe never disappoints. Versatile for all type of occasions and events. Romantic dinner, birthday celebrations, professional and social dining. The menu changes often and is always innovative, and includes several creative vegan and vegetarian options. The ambiance is lovely. Especially when the fireplace is roaring. Attentive service. Impeccable presentation. Highly recommend.

    Always enjoy the consistently delicious menu items, and was so pleased to see so many specials on Valentine’s Day weekend. Some complementary bubbly to start was a nice touch.

    Higher end prices, but an excellent experience and service. You can easily spend a romantic night for a few hours.

    The service, food and ambience at Coldwater Cafe is outstanding. The noise from the kitchen area was a bit loud also dropping stuff on the floor in the kitchen was vibrating the floor as we sat right beside the kitchen near the fireplace. I highly recommend.
