* The Brewhouse - Our main restaurant and drinks area is a cool wooden interior with references to beer throughout. It's all about atmosphere! Dog-friendly.

* Pizza & Prosecco Floor - A gorgeous interior on our first floor. Our microbrewery and pizza oven are on this floor, so you can watch our team in action as they cook and brew for you.

* Rooftop Terrace - Cocktails, beers and an exclusive food menu served under a glorious view of Edinburgh Castle. Our iconic rooftop is perfect for any outdoor occasion

Last bookings for food are at 8.45pm, later bookings will only be for drinks. Please note that our Terrace closes at 10pm daily.

Following last year’s hugely successful Brunch with Santa, we’re delighted to bring them back for another year. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting families from near and far and can’t wait to welcome back the big man himself for another month of fun! We have a range of dates to choose from but do be careful as they sell out quickly. On the day you’ll enjoy a hearty brunch for adults (hot drink included) and we more than look after the wee ones with food & drink and of course a visit and gift from Santa.

There’s nowhere better to feel a part of our city’s world-renowned Hogmanay celebrations than on the Rooftop of Cold Town House. Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town and at the foot of Castle Rock our Rooftop is in prime position to take in the sights and sounds of the festivities. From the warmth and comfort of your own outdoor table, you’ll enjoy your welcome dram or Prosecco, delicious sharing platters of food and of course, when the bells ring and the Castle fireworks start above your heads we all celebrate with another round of drinks to toast the new year. Tickets are already selling fast so don’t miss out. Last Entry 8:30pm

We had a lovely time catching up. We all had pizza which was delicious! The staff were very attentive and tried to offer us a different table when our 2hr timeslot was up. Would definitely recommend 🌟

We had a great experience at Cold Town House yesterday. Nothing was too much trouble especially when we requested a table change. The food was delicious and service was brilliant, we will be back!

We were seated immediately at our booked time. Then we never saw any staff again for 30 minutes, and which point we just left. Do not recommend visiting if you want to eat or drink anything.

Amy was amazing and they were kind and amenable tot no movies indoors when weather didn’t cooperate. The food was excellent!

Really enjoyed the pizzas, drinks and service at Cold Town House. The only downside (if I can call it that) was that when we booked we weren't aware the Eurocup would be on the screens and it was a little bit too loud for us. People were really well-behaved, but the noise levels were too much. Next time we will check whether there are any football matches on before booking.

Lugar estupendo para tomar algo o para cenar también. Todo estaba buenísimo! Lo mejor, uno de los camareros era español!!!! Un chico genial!!!! Repetiriamos sin duda!!

Staff were brilliant the food was amazing there was a bit of a wait but they were busy and it was worth waiting for have been before and always the same lovely people and food xx

I had a lovely pizza in the terrace they kept the terrace nice and warm. The bar tender who was outside was so nice and made amazing cocktails
