Quatrième visite, un peu décevante. La fraîcheur des huîtres était douteuse. Les moules étaient sèches et froides. Le cassoulet manquait de saveur. Le service était bien, mais la personne qui est venue nous demander notre appréciation à la fin du repas ne parlait pas français...Bistro Cocotte...c'est français, non?

Outstanding food and great service - the only thing is that the restaurant feels very casual and could use some embellishment, otherwise outstanding

Our experience at Cocotte was unfortunately very disappointing. It was extremely loud. So loud that we could barely hold a conversation. (We are 30 year olds - can’t imagine elderly people) Our first drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive. The drink order was wrong but we said nothing because we didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes. The bread was stale. Our salmon tartare was fishy and the 43$ veal blanquette was overcooked... All that after waiting an hour before our mains arrived… Truly disappointing especially for the price

Quite good. Really Noisy. To be fair it was a Sunday. However, the volume was at first just other tables then the music got slightly louder. It was just a lot of noise, and I could not hear the one other person at the table with me. Nice space set up. Staff were circulating but not hovering. No wait time. I will come again.

Order the pasta. It’s delicious. The veal was also fantastic. Desserts were very yummy too.

Went there for dinner and twice for breakfast. Breakfast was much better experience. Food was well prepared and seasoned. Every dish we had for dinner though was lacking salt. Overall the the food quality was great. Unfortunately, during our 3 visits the wait staff would always forget something - an appetizer, a drink or a coffee. Service was also on the slower side probably due to the restaurant being pretty busy so I recommend ordering everything you want at once. Our dinner lasted almost 3 hrs. I recommend for breakfast - Truffle Omelet, Breakfast Poutine. And for dinner - Beef Tartare, Shrimp Pernod and Coq Au Vin.
