So happy to finally try Coco Deck. We ate early and got to choose from both the happy hour and dinner menu. Service, food, and value were great! We are already planning on returning next week to sample more of the menu. Mahalo to Coco Deck!

Up front, I’ll say we got fooled booking for the restaurant Duckine Resturant, then getting confirmation about Coco Deck. I didn’t find out until I got there that Duckine wasn’t just renamed. Coco Deck had bought them out and had a completely different menu. The pleasant surprise was the location boasts the same ocean view, one of the few places that survived the fire. Service was excellent and timely. I got the coconut crusted Mahi Mahi and it was cooked perfectly with a very tasty cauliflower curry and mushrooms. Presentation was beautiful too. This dish rivaled anything at Mama’s Fishhouse, and price was way less, just over $30. Even across the street, single dishes are in the mid to high $60’s! I’d come again for sure. Though Open Table says it’s Mexican cuisine, I’d says it’s more of an Asian-Hawaii-Latin fusion. Yum!

I live on Maui and have been to Coco Deak a few times. The food in the past has been great but this time it missed the mark. My friend had the NY Steak and it was very fatty and the portion was so small the chips and veggies were overshadowed the steak. The steak was sent back.. The tostada salad was OK. Reality it was just a salad on a tostada nothing overwhelming.

Claudia from Chile was our server and she was terrific! My wife had a bowl with Mahi Mahi and I had the fish tacos and enjoyed both

Great find! My husband and I were beyond pleasantly surprised. This restaurant has a great vibe, and location. As we sat out on the patio, we could hear and see the waves. Food was delicious- coco toast, queso tacos and ramen all highly recommend! Horchata colada and the holy mole drinks were a nice touch. Staff was attentive and welcoming. Looking forward to coming back.

Omg! This is a perfect Happy Hour spot on Front St! The fish tacos, the loaded funky fries and the cocktails were amazing! We watched the World Series with a room full of new friends and we oohed and uhhhed together. Chef Savella aka The Kitchen Assassin runs a great kitchen. We will be back!

We had a reservation and were seated in the large room just off the entrance. It felt cavernous. It took quite a while for wait staff to acknowledge us and bring waters and menus. Place has a sports bar vibe. Food was overall fine, Mexican influence. Ceviche and garlic shrimp appetizers were pretty good. Tostada salad was pedestrian. Fish and chips was fine. Ramen bowl was good. I don’t think we would rush back.

Fantastic food in a great oceanfront setting. Basically positioned on a cul-de-sac, little vehicle noise, and fun walking area. Family friendly, customizable menu that is skillfully crafted by a great staff - front and back. Happy hour specials and mainland football hours on the weekend.
