   Had a tremendous dinner here. Rooftop setting meant a quiet, relaxing escape. The vegetarian mushroom small plate was so good. Wish we would have ordered about six instead of one.

   Nice selection of food and wine by the glass as well as by the bottle. Friendly service and a good atmosphere. I would definitely recommend. The shrimp gnocchi was lovely.

   The food and service was outstanding. The only thing I object to is the automatic 12.5% service charge along with the 2.5% government charge. I prefer to offer a service personally when I believe it is deserved, as it was on this occasion. But I object strenuously to automatic service charges

   We made reservations here well in advance of our visit given the articles highlighting this place and accolades the chef had received. Perhaps that was a mistake as the actual food, service, and overall experience didn’t come close to the descriptions. First when we got there, our table was outside in a corner under a window and under a staircase going to the rooftop. Felt like you were in a broom closet. Hostess was kind enough to change that after we complained. Then the service. We ordered our appetizers after being told that they were already out of a few dishes the restaurant was known for (although we were on the early side of the evening with 6:30pm table). It took a while for the appetizers to arrive. In the meanwhile no plates were provided to the table. When appetizers arrived, we asked for plates so we could share the food. We waited 20mins for plates, which never arrived. The excuse was that the main room of the restaurant was bought out by some group and ostensibly all plates were used up. Why offer additional reservations if you have such a large party and cannot handle the volume. Once the food arrived the food was “meh.” For the price, the name behind the restaurant the food was not that amazing. It was good but not a place that is must try. In fact during our stay we had much better food at other places on the island that were far less pricey and more interesting and tasty dishes. After our mains were finished, the hostess and our server quickly cleared our plates and all the water and cocktail glasses too. Apparently they were running out of glassware for the main room for the big group. Even in between our courses we would routinely wait 15mins just to have water glasses topped off. Worse part was at the end, when we received the expensive bill, the server asks us to tip him more if we want to although a service charge was already included. Overall extremely disappointed in the whole experience!!! Not worth the hype!

   Ron, our waiter, was very friendly and attentive. The other staff were quite friendly as well. Food was very good. The rain towards the end did not ruin our experience. Great view from the roof top. We were a party of six and all were pleased with our time here. I would recommend the Cocktail Kitchen.

   Cocktail Kitchen remains one of the most consistent dining options on Barbados’ South Coast. Sginature dishes such as their Roasted Breadfruit and Lobster, the Curry Lamb Shank and the Ginger BBQ Pigtails remain sublime. Their house favourite cocktails like the Mango Chow and Coconut Mojito are made to perfection! Great experience all around!

   CK is a cool place, not just in terms of its vibe, but with A/C units and ceiling fans everywhere, it provides a shelter from the heat outside! The menu leans towards fish and seafood but includes lots of alternatives for everyone. The food was very tasty - the best in the Gap, for me. The prices were not bad by Gap standards at $60 and $75 for our mains. Try it, you'll love it...

   We had been recommended by a local and Cocktail Kitchen did not disappoint. We were very well looked after by Omar who was wonderfully professional, fun and helpful. The view of the gap from the rooftop is beautiful and we very much enjoyed our time. Thank you 🤩

    Have eaten here several times and the food is consistently excellent, although portions strike me as a bit on the light side given the prices. On this past visit, however, we were unfortunate to be assigned to what is likely the worst table in the house; right beside the kitchen entrance/exit. The table was oriented such that my wife had a view of the wall and the door, which detracted from the meal. I suppose the operators need to use all the floor space, but this table is one that I would not accept again. All that said, the food was great and so was the service.
